⑄Chapter 9⑄

Jake Sat on a stool in little distance from Heeseung.He was Fidgeting his fingers as he was so nervous.Looking at the lawyer,getting the marriage registry paper ready did not help.It increased his unease more.He was trying so hard to look calm hoping he could do it.He was still in disbelief that he was going to marry Heeseung;His life was going to be bound with another person.But There was no excitement for this in him.Cuz He knew very well that This Was gonna be just an empty relationship in the name of Marriage.Atleast Heeseung cleared it out to him already.So normally he threw off all hopes about this relationship from his mind.He explained himself well that it was just a marriage for show off;just a consolation for grandpa;nothing more.

Heeseung was sitting there with his head low.He was looking calm but So many things were running inside his head crazily.He was still in Dilemma.He was still unsure if he was doing the right thing.He was deep in thoughts.Everything was feeling scribbled in his head.He was so afraid how would he tell Sunghoon about this;Can he ever tell him?..If he decides to hide then how long can he?...How would he explain this thing to Sunghoon if he find out ever?Is This even explainable?Would Sunghoon believe him?...What if He leaves him?No No No..It can't be..He can't live without Sunghoon.
But on the other hand, He had no option left to choose.He just closed his eyes shut;he wanted to run away from this world for a while.He was feeling so stressed;so pressured.

At that moment,The lawyer Broke the silence in the room.
"Mr.Lee,The papers are ready" the lawyer told.
Heeseung took a deep breath.With a sigh he raised his head & Looked up at the lawyer.
"Okay.Where do i have to sign?" He asked shortly in low voice.
"Here" The lawyer showed the signature place to Heeseung.
Heeseung took the pen in his hand.The situation was feeling so suffocated to both Jake & Heeseung.Jake was silently sitting there without any sound keeping his head low.
Heeseung Pulled the registry paper toward him in a lazy motion.He bended to the paper & placed the pen's Tip on the paper.He paused for a second.He closed his eyes once & inhaled a heavy breath & let out out a sigh.Then without any more Delay,
He ran the pen tip on the paper swiftly leaving his signature on it.Then he handed out the paper to the lawyer again.The lawyer turned toward Jake.
"Now,Mr.Sim," the lawyer called out.
Jake's heart jumped in his chest even though he was prepared for the call.He raised his head.
"Yes?" He answered shortly.
"If you're agreed with this marriage then sign here" The lawyer said pointing at the specific spot on the paper.
Jake looked at the paper & stayed still for a couple second. Then he took the paper in his hand & placed it on the bed in front of him.He bended down & took the pen in his hand.He was feeling so nervous.For a moment,He just wanted to run away from all of this.His hands were shaking if anyone could notice closely.He was drowning in the abyss of hesitation.But he had no option left to choose just like Heeseung.So he forcefully buried down all his his doubt,hesitation & Dilemma inside his heart & proceeded his pen.With a shaky swift,he signed the paper finally.
"Congratulations.You're now legally married" Told the lawyer with a smile on his face looking between Heeseung & Jake.
Grandpa was smilling wide.Both of their Heart melt when they looked at that precious smile on Grandpa's face.A little smile faded in Heeseung's face despite of the inner pain.Jake looked at Grandpa and smiled softly;tears were forming in his eyes.For a moment,He felt like it was worth it to do;atleast they could see this lovely smile on Grandpa's face.
"Thank you my childs.For keeping this last wish of mine.I hope you won't regret it" said Grandpa weakly.

Heeseung just smiled softly as a response.

Later that night,Grandpa became sick again after a while.So he was injected & fell asleep.Heeseung sent away Jake at the house to take some rest.Jake was not wanting to go but at last he went to the house after Heeseung told him so many times.Heeseung stayed at the Hospital as he could guess anything might happen to Grandpa anytime.So he decided to stay the night at the Hospital's waiting room since he was not allowed in ICU.
So he Lazily dragged his legs to the waiting room's seat.He sat on one corner.He was so exhausted;more mentally then physically.He leaned against the chair & threw his head back.He kept his eyes shut & tried to relax his mind for a while.Cuz what happened is happened. So there's no meaning to stress out about this right now.He stayed at that half lying position for a while.Suddenly he remembered that he didn't call or text Sunghoon even for once in the whole day.So many things happened that he just forgot about it.He pinched the crook of his nose in frustration.
