CHAPTER : 11

"When I was  going to open the shop in th morning. I need to go to the loo.  Finishing my work, while I was coming back I saw a police van stopping in the side road of the forest. When, I asked them they said that they got a call from a nursery, Who informed them they got an anonymous call from a local telephone booth and ask them to go and check the forest outskirts. "

" That is all Karim said. "Arjun finished his talk.
" Even, Dilip seth was unaware of any thing. He didn't even went to that mini school bus he claimed he saw. I don't think, he ever saw a mini school bus. That person even tell the colour right. First he said in that Interview that he saw a yellow colour van. Today he said that he saw a white colour van. "
Shlok said. When Shlok went to find Dilip seth, he got to know that he was ill. And, his son is running his iron shop. He has amnesia, so he now says one, and other after a while.

" Yes, sir even Pranjal kumar don't know anything. I asked if he could recollect anything from that morning. But, could not."

"Yes, sir. Even the people in the slum is also making up rumours about this case. So, I don't think they know anything." Dhruv said.

"Yes, sir. I also think the local people around the forest area know anything. But, sir. As you ordered I analysed the statements by the people specifically  by the slum people's as they are the one who are closer to the forest." Aahi said. After coming from the slum both Aahi and Arav sat down and analysed their statements.

" I know this murders are done by that animal in the jungle. The orge ( he said in whisper.) in night we usually heard his voice. "

" I don't know about the orge but yes before every dead body found, we hear some sound of growling from the forest."

"When, I was come from the river at night. I saw girl with a man. I called them to stop them but roar and a loud shriek of a girl stopped me. And, I run away from there."

"It wasn't a night when I was coming from the sideroad of the forest. And, a low rumble, I knew that aminal was around me but I didn't had the courage to turn around and look at it."

"If you see, in all the statements  one thing is common --- Sound of an animal at night." Aahi explains them. Alot of them can be rumour but most of the people hearing sounds at night cannot be a coincidence.

"True,  we should go there tonight. And, keep an eye on the surrounding of the forest." Arjun said.

AT NIGHT :
Arjun, Shlok, Dhruv and Arav was present at night. They didn't take Aahi with them as it could be dangerous for her.But, she in keeping on touch with them by Bluetooth. Arjun asked Arav and Dhruv to keep a watch in the forest from the river side. And. He and Shlok are keeping an eye from the side road of the forest. Though its been two days they are coming here but no trace of any animal or any human was found till now.

"Arav, properly keep an eye. If you feel any danger contact us immediately. And, Dhruv don't fall a sleep." Arjun instructed from his car. He and Shlok was in their regular position.
"Yes, sir. I won't." Dhruv replied Arjun immediately after waking up from his drowsiness. Arav beside him just laughed at his situation.
"And, Aahi stay in touch with all of us. It could be dangerous if anyone of us get lost in this forest."
"Yes, sir."
Arjun cuts the phone after giving them all the instructions.
"Aahi, is a nice girl, right." Shlok asked.
"True. Very attentive and sincere to her work. Arav is also good but her analysing skills are very good."

"It's very hard to impress you. But, I must say, Aahi did impress you. Right." Shlok Asked. Arjun looks at him and just replied with a hmm.

"You know Arjun, she like you. Why don't you give her a chance. This is the first time I saw you praising about someone. I am sure you will like her in the future. "

"No, Shlok. It's not possible.
Yes, she is a very good girl.
Yes, I am impressed by her. But, No. There is no chance between us. My future is hanging by a possibility. If I solve the case, my future is saved. If I couldn't solve it, I don't know if I want to even think about it. " Arjun said with a wary in his voice.
" Let's not talk about it. And give attention to this case. "

" No, Arjun. Keeping everything to yourself will only hurt you. Everyones past has something that hunts them. But, they don't stop living their life. "
Shlok said.
Arjun and Ahlok are friends from their school times. Both had the dream to be a journalist and bonded with each other through their passion for journalism. And over the years, they become inseparable from each other. They saw lots of ups and downs in each other's life but stood by one anothers side. And, help each other. Maybe friendship is a small word to discribe their relation. They more of a brother to each other than friends.    
   Yes, they don't know everything about it each other. But, still waiting for the other to just speak and lighten the burden of their heart.

But, Arjun couldn't speak, before that there is a message in his phone from Navin.
 

     "The call was given to the chief."
