CHAPTER :4

After waking up Arjun message Shlok to gather all the information related to this case.All the information that was in the database of the office were were useless. So, Arjun told Shlok to gather information from other platforms. He also went to the police station to collect details.

"Officer Gupta, nice to meet you. I actually want some help from you about the wild animal case." Arjun said after exchanging greetings with him.
"Hello, Arjun. Oh are you working on this case from your media house."
"Yes. And if you don't mind sharing about other victims of this case." Arjun requested him.

"Oh, certainly . I will send it to you  via email, If its okay with you."replied officer Gupta." Sir, you are the one who is working on this case from very long time did you find any motive for this murders. Or else why any one will go in that place in their correct sense of mind." Listening to the questions Arjun was asking officer sigh and took a pause before replying, "The motive is still not clear. Also,  in every page of this case has questions only. That cannot be answered. And the more you found those answers the more questions you will found, nothing else."
"But, that doesn't mean we will let a vicious snake in humanbody  murder innocent people." while saying this Arjun was in  towering rage, Still control him in front of the officer.

"How do you know that they are innocent?"
Office Gupta's this statement create confusion in Arjuns mind. However he stayed reticent to himself since Arjun didn't want to hear anymore of his  weird question. Also, nor he want to question someone, he knows that he  will be needing later.

Then,some days later, we saw Arjun and Shlok walking in through the main gate of the office.

"Shlok, did you gather any new information from the company's evidence room about those victims ?"

" No, actually nothing regarding the victims but I found some thing let me show you." He then took Arjun to a store room where he set up a board, some chair and a table. Make it up their own investigations room.
 
" Wow, when did you do all these.?" Arjun asked as soon as he enter the room. Also, started to check out the room that has been furnished by his bestfriend. "Did you do all these alone? I can't believe eyes. Maybe my eyesight has been weak. The prince of his mother who never lift a jug of water by himself, did so much alone." Arjun sarcastically said. Shlok rolled his eyes watching Arjun acting so dramatically but with a sweet smile in his face.
" What can I do my bestie can't do anything on his own. Also, cry like a baby in his mother's arm. So, I have to do something, right crybaby."

"Mom, said it to you, Right. I should have known. She can never hide something from her" oh so lovely son." I am still thinking why she adores you so much, idiot."Arjun knows that his mother love Shlok like her son.She always says that if she had another son she would love it if he is like Shlok. And that why Arjun is jealous of Shlok. He is bubbly and garrulous, he can be friends with any person of any age.

" Aunty loves me cause I am lovely.Not a grumpy crybaby like you." Arjun made a wired face when Shlok was talking about his mother. "Also, answer to your question is no. I did not done it alone. Our team members helped us."
Hearing him Arjun raised his eyebrows in question.
"Our team?"
"Yes, that moster in human face accepted your request to give us a team." Shlok shouting with joy. Arjun was alao happy that some of his problems are solved. "Seriously, all thanks to Navin. He helped us alot in convincing that monster." Shlok started to dance throwing his hands in the air and swaying his hips and sing along with it.
 
"Good morning, Chief." Arjun greet the editor in chief. And, Shlok freeze in his place in tha same posture he was a while ago. Then he turn at Arjun who was looking at him and signalling him to stand straight. With the  feeling of horror and a bunch of anxiety he turn towards the chief to greet him. His eyes are in the floor not looking at a chief or he knows he will faint. He greeted him with a whisper, "Good morning, Chief."
"Good morning." answered the editor in chief of the Adersh  news media. Shlok squeeze his eyes shut as soon as he hear the chiefs voice. After a minute of pause his brain recognised the voice so he looked up.
"You."
Both Arjun and Navin guffawed at him like they just saw a joker in place of him. It's been 2 minutes they are still laughing Navin is already on the ground. And, Arjun is on his knees still laughing, clutching his stomach with one hand and holding the table with other so that he don't fall because of the effect of laughing so much. And, Shlok was standing there sulking and with a pout in his face, Stomping his foot time to time. Sitll they are laughing like some pigs oinking at him from their muddy puddles.
 
After a few minutes, their series of laughter came to an end. After a little while of chitchat, Navin hand over a letter to Arjun, pat on the shoulder and left. Arjun opened the letter to see that the chief agreed to give them a chance to investigate the case. A sense of relief spread all over him.  But, that come with a condition, if he fails to solve this case then he will have to resign from his job, no more chances will be given to him to secure his career.
"How can he do that. He knows that this job is necessary for you still he played this dirty trick, That monster." Shlok was angry at the chief as he knows about Arjuns mother's medical condition still he has been mentally torturing him from the time he was an intern in this office.
" It's alright. If its my last chance lets use it properly. Thinking about this will restraint us from thinking about the case correctly. Leave all these, you said that you found something what is it?"
"oh, yes. I totally forgot about it."
