...

Both Fadel and Bison chose to return home. The two assassin brothers checked the surroundings of the house to ensure that no police or undercover agents were lying in wait. The area around the house was silent. After observing for a while, they were certain that no one was present. It seemed that the police still had no evidence to identify them, so they hadn't sent reinforcements to make any arrests.

Once inside the house, Fadel and Bison went their separate ways to rest. They didn't speak to each other again, as if each was lost in their own thoughts.

Fadel took a shower and changed into his pajamas. He tried to fall asleep before the new day began, but his sleep was far from effective. He tossed and turned restlessly, unable to find rest, and ultimately had to get up around one o'clock.

The first thing he did after getting out of bed was to find some water to quench his thirst. His mind was still filled with various thoughts, reviewing where he had made mistakes during the operation that day.

The more he thought, the less he understood. Eventually, he found himself in his study, sitting there for about half an hour before he suddenly remembered that Bison had brought back the surveillance footage from the restaurant where Penpak was a partner.
...

He took it out, intending to search for where he had gone wrong from the records of that day. Fadel sat quietly alone in the study, unaware of whether he would find anything at all.

On Bison's side, he too couldn't sleep. It seemed he had gotten out of bed in his private room even before Fadel did. However, he didn't go looking for water or sit quietly to calm his mind in the study.

He got dressed, preparing to go out, with a dull look in his eyes, lacking any spark. His mind was consumed with thoughts of Kant, obsessively wondering if the other had truly approached him to deceive him.

His relentless curiosity was hard to shake off. Bison took a deep breath and grabbed the car keys.

He got into his personal vehicle but didn't start the engine or drive off anywhere. In his hand, he fidgeted with his smartphone. Since the day he went to the tattoo shop, aside from extracting data from Kant's personal work device, on the night they shared a bed while Kant was fast asleep, he had implanted a tracking application into Kant's smartphone.

Initially, he intended not to use it because he wanted to trust his partner. He wanted to believe in someone and wanted to try loving without having to worry.

It was difficult-very difficult-when the suspicion that Kant was not sincere with him grew stronger. Bison closed his eyes, swallowing down the nameless feelings churning in his stomach.

Finally, he decided to pull up the tracking application for Kant on his mobile phone. It had a playback feature, and he saw that Kant had gone to...

The restaurant where he dealt with Penpakkart was followed by a visit to a bridge, ending the day at a bar.

Kant hadn't told him where he had been during the past few days they were apart. Kant reported that he had gone to bed early.

Because Bison was busy and because he intended to trust and believe in Kant, even if Kant lied, he could only be a fool who remained oblivious.

Knowing this now, it would have been better to heed Fadele's advice, but the phrase "knowing this now" meant he often realized too late.

Bison pressed his gaze on his smartphone screen. Once he saw Kant moving, he decided to start the car in the dead of night. It seemed that Kant had also driven out of the house to somewhere, even though he had just messaged Bison to say he wasn't feeling well and would take some medication before going to bed early.
