Months had passed since the two met and they easily became part of their respective routine. After spending the night studying, Kash will go to the café to get her daily dose of caffeine but at this point, coffee is not the only reason why the gorgeous med student go to the café.

"How do you manage your time? You're working as a researcher while studying medicine? You must be so smart", Trisha said full of adoration to the future doctor as they walk together during one quiet night.

"I'm going to ask the same question to you, how do you manage your time? You're studying while working", said Kash, smiling because the girl pouted. Clearly not enjoying the antics of the older.

"I asked you first", said sulking Trisha.

Kash let out a laugh because she found this side of the barista amusing.  "If you're really interested, you can to my place to see how I spend my day juggling work and studies"

"Is that your way of inviting me to your place?", the younger teased Kash.

Kash realized how creepy that sound. She's practically inviting a stranger to her place. This is not her. She's not like this. Kash doesn't want Trisha to think that she's some kind of weirdo.

"Ahm, I was just kidding. I only work 20 hours per week and the rest, I just study so I am always ahead of my lectures", said Kash, trying to redeem herself from the embarrassment she did earlier.

"Intelligence is hot", Kash throw her head back laughing like a little kid at Trisha's statement.

"Can I call you other name than your name?", Kash asked.

"I'm going to punch you if that's anything near baby, babe, or whatever toothaching name".

Kash laughed again. She thinks that she laughed more with Trisha than she had her entire life.

"Ishi."

"Ishi?"

"It's a Japanese word which means stone."

"And what does it have to do with me?", the curious Trisha asked.

"Nothing, I just find it cute."

"So you find me cute?"

"I guess",

It's easier for Kash to said that than explain the whole reason why she thought of Ishi.

For her, Trisha is like a stone accidentally thrown to her ocean. It formed ripples to her calm demeanor and she had no idea how deep that stone went. What she know is that, her life never be the same since she met this girl and that stone will be forever stuck at the very heart of her ocean.

Kash was never the one to easily be attach to someone. She practiced restraint, nonchalance, she built walls so high no one can enter her life.

'Was it because of the coffee? How she gracefully move? The way she smile so bright?'

She has no idea.

"Is this where you live?", Kash asked as they stop in front a building

"Yeah, I live with a roommate who always bring her boyfriend and they always, alwaaaays do the deed. Not just that, they're so loud", the girl said dramatically, wiping her invisible tears.

"That sucks. How do you even rest with that?"

"Earphones is a lifesaver", then Trisha laughed.
