Jungkook stood there, suitcase in hand, as he took one last glance in the mirror. His reflection stared back, weary and burdened. A heavy sigh slipped past his lips, the weight of departure settling in. His fingers brushed along the frame, as if he could somehow hold onto this moment, this room he had called home.

A shimmer caught in his eyes, and he blinked, but the tears only thickened, gathering like tiny storm clouds. He'd leave again, from here, from everything familiar, yet something in his heart clung to this place, unwilling to let go.

His heart twisted at the thought of missing his family all over again. The familiar warmth of "Bun?"-his dad's gentle call-was all it took to unravel him. Jungkook's breath caught as he turned, eyes misty, and saw them all gathered there, faces softened with warm smiles.

He quickly brushed away his tears, forcing a smile as if to reassure them. But the sadness lingered, deep and unspoken, in the way his gaze clung to each of them, drinking in every detail as if he could carry them in his heart to wherever he was bound.

Jungkook wrapped his arms around them, feeling their warmth envelop him, grounding him for just a moment longer. In the center of their embrace, he felt both protected and vulnerable, like a child who didn't want to let go.

"We will miss you as well, Kookie," they murmured, voices tinged with both love and the ache of goodbye. A small, bittersweet smile tugged at his lips as he reluctantly stepped back, eyes lingering on each of their faces as if to memorize them one last time.

Jungkook's eyes sparkled with excitement. "You guys have to come to Korea for my birthday! I want to celebrate it there!" His enthusiasm was contagious, and his family couldn't help but nod, smiles widening with each word.

His mother stepped forward, gently pressing a warm kiss to his forehead. "My son, stay happy there. And if Taehyung ever makes you sad, don't hesitate to tell your mumma." Jungkook let out a soft giggle, nodding at her words.

Yes, jungkook told them about taehyung yesterday and that's how it went : "No," his dad spoke with a firm intention, his voice leaving no room for debate. Jungkook stared at him in disbelief, his heart racing.

"Appa? What do you mean 'no'? Do you not hear me? I love him!" Jungkook replied, his tone steady but filled with frustration. He felt a surge of defiance rising within him, determined to stand up for his feelings, especially when it came to Taehyung. He couldn't understand why his father couldn't see how genuine his love was, how deeply he cared for Taehyung.

"Can't you see that he makes me happy?" Jungkook continued, frustration creeping into his voice. "We have something real. Something special!" He looked around at his family, his heart racing as he tried to convey his feelings. "Taehyung is kind, supportive, and he understands me like no one else. Why can't you accept that?"

His mother shook her head, her expression pained. "It's not just about happiness, Jungkook. We're concerned for your future. Taehyung doesn't come from a family of means. What if he can't provide for you?"
