Throughout the evening, as Clarissa adjusted the camera angles and watched Gene rehearse his scenes, she found herself captivated by his presence. Gene Kelly wasn't just an actor; he was a performer through and through. Every movement, every smile seemed to carry a charm that was both effortless and magnetic. She noticed how he would occasionally glance her way, as if to check that she was still watching. It was a silent exchange, but one that grew with each stolen look.

During a break, he walked over and leaned close, pretending to inspect the camera setup beside her. He moved so close that she caught the scent of his cologne, a warm, inviting blend that only seemed to enhance his aura.

"If you ever need a fresh perspective," he said, voice low and smooth, "don't hesitate to call me over."

Clarissa let out a soft laugh, trying to play it cool. "I'll keep that in mind, Mr. Kelly."

He grinned, his eyes flashing with that familiar mischief. Their hands brushed briefly as he shifted back, and it was enough to send a spark up her arm. Gene didn't acknowledge the touch but gave her a lingering look that left her wondering if he had felt it too.
