That evening, after the lights dimmed and the set cleared, Clarissa sat by the window in her small apartment, the sounds of bustling Hollywood now a soft hum in the distance. She opened a letter from her dear friend, Anna, who lived in Paris. Anna was one of the few people with whom Clarissa could share her dreams and secrets without feeling self-conscious, and tonight, her thoughts were filled with memories of Gene.
Clarissa bit her lip as she wrote a reply, unsure how much to reveal. "Anna, I never thought I'd say this, but there's someone here who... well, let's just say he's hard to ignore. He's everything the movies make him out to be — charming, talented, and somehow... even more magnetic in real life."
She paused, glancing out the window. It felt strange to put her emotions on paper, especially about someone as unattainable as Gene Kelly. Yet, just writing his name made her heart beat faster, and she couldn't help but smile at the thought of him.
