One week later, from Yeonjun's point of view at the park by the Han River around 6 PM:

I was sitting around a table with Ryunjin, Beomgyu, Soobin, and Mark. They were talking, but honestly, my thoughts kept drifting back to that demon. It was driving me crazy; this never happens to me. Usually, I'm the one who stays in girls' heads, not the other way around. But I have to admit, she's different, and I know I'm going to have a lot of fun with her.

"Hey Yeonjun, you still with us?" Soobin asked, a teasing grin on his face.
"Yeah, dude, we've been talking to you for a while," Beomgyu chimed in, rolling his eyes dramatically.

I snapped back to reality, shaking off my thoughts. "Oh, sorry, what were you guys saying?" I replied, trying to sound casual but feeling a little embarrassed.

Pfff, seriously, what's up with you? Don't tell me you're still thinking about that girl Yeji, huh?" Ryunjin smirked, clearly enjoying my distraction. My cheeks felt warm; I couldn't let them know how much she was on my mind.
"Pfff, not at all," I shot back, attempting to keep my tone light.

"So what were you thinking about then, huh?" Mark probed, raising an eyebrow and leaning in closer. I could feel their teasing weight on me, and I had to deflect.
"I was thinking about the girl who's gonna be crying soon," I smirked, leaning back in my chair. "I'm seeing one tonight, and you know how I roll."

"And here we go again, another girl coming back crying," Beomgyu snorted, shaking his head with an amused grin. I rolled my eyes, but inside, I felt a flutter of excitement mixed with nerves about the date.
"Pfff, you really think it's all about getting laid, Yeonjun? You know that," Ryunjin teased, crossing her arms and giving me a pointed look, clearly not buying into my bravado.

I smirked back, but in the back of my mind, I couldn't shake the feeling that my thoughts were still tangled up with Yeji. Would I really end up with someone else, or was I destined to keep thinking about that demon girl?

As I tried to regain my composure, forcing myself not to think about her, Ryunjin's words crossed my mind. "But seriously, Yeonjun, did you see how powerful she is? She almost caused a damn carnage in the cafeteria if we hadn't stopped her."

I laughed and shook my head. "Yeah, I saw that. It was crazy! One minute, she's just sitting there minding her own business, and the next minute, she's ready to throw down on those bitches."

Mark leaned forward, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Dude, you gotta admit it was pretty sexy. A girl who can fight like that? That's a challenge, man!"

"Yeah, but it's also hellishly dangerous," I shot back, rubbing the back of my neck. I couldn't shake the image of Yeji's eyes turning red, that chaos aura swirling around her. "I don't need that kind of trouble in my life."

"But that's what makes it interesting," Beomgyu chimed in with a devilish grin. "You're just scared of actually liking her."

"Shut up," I replied, rolling my eyes, but there was a part of me that couldn't deny it. The thrill of it all—her strength, her attitude—was an adrenaline rush I hadn't felt in a while.

Ryunjin teased me, a smirk on his face. "You need a plan to snag her, dude. Maybe you should ask her out."

"And risk getting my head blown off? No thanks!" I laughed, even though the idea intrigued me. "But it would make one hell of a story, wouldn't it?"

Mark nodded, looking amused. "Either way, I bet you'd make some enemies. Other guys won't want to let her go if she starts crushing on you."

I wondered if I was ready to take that risk.
