"So....which university do u wanna apply for-?" I asked Jiaxu...
We were sitting on a bench outside school premises looking at the building which seemed dead in the evening without a single student....
"I'm thinking of South Wu university...." He replies
"South Wu? Isn't that in Nanwu?"
"Yeah...I know it's a bit far away.....but their courses and programs are the most suited for me...."
"Hmm..."
"I've always wanted to be a game developer....so it's my chance..."
"Oh wow....I play video games too...but never thought of being a game developer.... since I'm not that good at coding...." I replied... reminiscing the days I would get scolded at school for writing the wrong codes and now I'm passing out of school...
Jiaxu smiled as he heard that I play games too
Jiaxu: "I see,that's good....that means we have one more thing in common. What do u want to be when u grow up?"
I thought for a moment and replied...
"A graphic designer..."
"It suits ur skills...."
"Hmm..."
"Hmm..."
We sat in comfortable silence as a light breeze blew with distant car honking of busy streets...
"We should head home" Jiaxu says...
He was right...it was getting late...
We got up and started walking
Jiaxu walked alongside me..... I could feel her was curious what college I was applying for.... His eyes scan mine, trying to find some hint in my expression...
But little did he know how excited I felt when he said he was joining South Wu university...
I was already planning to surprise him since I had already seen the graphic designing courses in South Wu university....and I was applying for it...but I wanted to surprise Jiaxu...
Soon we reach a point where we seperate paths...
"It's a bummer our houses are in total opposite directions " I said, a bit disappointed....
