She had reached the highway, but darkness was creeping in, wrapping the world in shadows. The setting sun left the forest behind her a dangerous place, and the unknown lurked in the growing night. Panic surged within her, if a wild animal chose this moment to strike, she would be utterly vulnerable. She couldn't afford to stand still, so she began to move cautiously, her senses heightened.
Suddenly, headlights pierced the darkness, a car approaching rapidly. Yn's heart pounded, fear gripped her as she clenched the hem of her dress, unsure whether to flee or wait. The car slowed and came to a stop right in front of her. The window slid down, revealing a strikingly handsome man in a tailored suit. His perfectly styled hair and chiseled features seemed almost otherworldly.
???: Do you need help?.
He asked, his brow furrowed as he took in her disheveled appearance.
Yn hesitated, her voice caught in her throat. As silence hung between them, a growl echoed from the forest, snapping her back to reality. The man smirked, his eyes glinting with intrigue.
???: I don't eat humans, but I can't guarantee about them.
He said, nodding toward the trees.
Her stomach twisted at the thought, and without another moment's consideration, she climbed into the car. The man chuckled, clearly amused by her urgency.
???: Let's get out of here.
He said, starting the engine.
As they drove in silence, Yn's mind raced with thoughts of escape and danger. Finally, he cleared his throat, breaking the tension.
???: By the way, may I know your beautiful name?.
She paused, weighing her options. Could she trust him? But he had just rescued her.
Yn: Y.n,Yn Lee.
???: Beautiful name.
He complimented, glancing at her briefly before turning serious again.
???: So, Yn, what were you doing out there at this hour?
Her heart raced again, panic setting in as she grappled with the truth. Should she confide in him? But how could she trust a stranger? Sensing her hesitation, he said.
???: If you don't want to-
Yn: I was with friends but got lost.
She blurted out, hoping to divert his suspicion.
???: In that forest?.
He asked, skepticism lacing his tone.
Yn: Y..yes.
She stammered, feeling the weight of her lie.
He simply nodded, though his expression suggested he knew more than he let on, of course, no one dare to enter into that forest because no one is allowed to, he knew why and whom that place belongs to.
After a tense drive, the car finally halted in front of an opulent mansion. Yn stared at the grand structure, confusion etched on her face.
Yn: Where are we?.
She asked, anxiety creeping back in.
???: At my place.
He replied casually.
Yn: But why? You're supposed to drop me somewhere with transport.
She said, panic rising.
???: Hey, relax. It's late at night. Do you really think you'll find transportation out here?.
