Jun had been looking forward to spending some quality time with his Bela, so he decided to take her to the local playground, hoping she'd enjoy running around and playing with the other kids. To make the outing even more enjoyable, he asked Jungkook to join them. However, when Jun mentioned it to him, JK's response was less than enthusiastic.
Jungkook: No, I don't want to.
Jungkook grumbled, his eyes glued to his video game screen.
Jun could tell that Jungkook wasn't in the mood, but before he could protest further, Mr jeon intervened.
Mr jeon: He'll join you.
He said, giving a pointed look at his son. With a resigned sigh, Jungkook's protests were silenced,
Reluctantly, Jungkook found himself being dragged out of the house, and the car ride to the playground was filled with silence. As soon as they arrived, Jun set Bela down, and she wasted no time running toward the sandpit, holding onto her toys tightly, ready to play. Jun smiled warmly at her, her carefree joy was contagious.
He turned to Jungkook, standing beside him, still absorbed in his game.
Jun: Why don't you go play too? You might have some fun.
Jungkook, without looking up, gave a dismissive shrug.
Jungkook: thanks, I'm good. I'm fine here.
He muttered, still tapping away at his screen.
Jun was a little surprised by how uninterested Jungkook seemed, not to mention how cold he was acting for his age.
Jun: He seems colder than his father.
Jun thought, though he quickly shrugged off the thought. He was still focusing on Bela, watching her with affection as she dug into the sand with her toys.
But then his phone rang, pulling his attention away. Jun glanced at Bela, she was still absorbed in her play, and saw no immediate danger, so he stepped away to take the call. He turned to his bodyguard.
Jun: Watch over them while I'm on this call.
The bodyguard nodded, and Jun walked a little further from the playground to find a quiet spot.
Meanwhile, as Bela continued playing, her excitement soon waned. She missed her father's presence. Looking around for him, she saw that he was occupied with his phone. Her gaze then shifted to Jungkook, still engrossed in his game. Bela hesitated for a moment, then got up and slowly walked toward him.
Bela: Oppa...
She called, her voice soft but filled with curiosity.
Jungkook didn't respond, still engrossed in his game. Bela tried again, walking closer to him.
