Chapter 1: The Beginning

(A/n: this took so long to write, I hope you enjoy. Also In this world people know that Bruce Wayne is Batman just giving you a heads up and I'll be using some dialogue from the Manga)

Gotham City 10 years ago.

We see a young boy with (H/c) hair and (e/c) eyes walking with an older man with dark brown hair and blue eyes walking down the street. The young boy had his head down and was ashamed.

Young boy: I-I'm sorry I started that fight...

Older man: (sigh) I know you are Y/n. Why don't you tell me your side of the story?

Y/n: well... Everyone What's going around telling what they want to be when they grow up. I said I wanted to be a hero then... Everyone laughed at me besides the teacher.

Older man: Why did they laugh at you?

Y/n: They say I will never be a hero because my Quirk is villainous... and...

Older man: And what?

Y/n: ....... And they say that I will just become a villian that just hurts other people and they say that my family must be ashamed to have a kid like me. After they said that, the fight broke out. It wasn't the first time people called my Quirk Villainous but I hate them when they talk bad about my family. Especially something that is not true.

The older man looked at Y/n with a small smile. He stops walking and kneels down to the boy.

Older man: Y/n. While I appreciate that you defended our family instead yourself. But you can't let people's words get the best of you. Besides "people's words do not define you."

Y/n formed a small smile.

Older man: though I am curious. What kinda Hero do you want to be?

Y/n took a second to think of an answer.

Y/n: I... I want to be a hero like uncle Bruce! A hero that scares villains away.

Older man: (chuckles) Is that so? Well I believe you can achieve that dream of yours.

Y/n: Even with my Quirk?

Older man: Of Course! You know your uncle once told me something about being a hero. He said "It's not who I am underneath But what I do that defines Me."

Y/n: what does that mean?

Older man: Basically It means He let is actions speak louder then his word.

Y/n felt inspired by his words.

Older man: Now Come on we talked enough your sister and mother are waiting for us back home. We had to cut through the alley to get through the car so stay close to me.

Y/n: Ok dad.

Y/n and his father headed down an alleyway as quickly as they could but then a thug in a ski mask got in front of them. His right hand turned into a gun and he aimed it at the two. Y/n's father put his son behind him to protect him.

Ski masked thug: Empty your pockets and give me everything you have. Now!

Y/n's Father: (put his hand up) okay, okay calm down I'll compile, just don't shoot.

Y/n: (scared) dad?

Y/n's father: it's okay son, just stay behind me.

Y/n's Father slowly took out his wallet and presented it to the thug. The thug slowly approached him with his gun hand still pointed at him. When the thug was about to take the wallet Y/n's father quickly grabbed the hand that turned into a gun and pointed it upwards. The gun fired with a loud bang which hurt Y/n's ears. Y/n's father then starts punching the thug repeatedly until he seems to be knocked out. Y/n watch his father in admiration taking down the thug. His father went back to him.
