"Opal!" Sharp said excitedly in the distance.

"Sharp!" Opal said as she ran up to hug Sharp.

Only a few wolves in the pack actually liked Opal. Sharp was one of them. If you had to ask for a reason why Opal was useful, most would say extra prey, useful in battle, and other useful reasons. But if you asked Sharp, let's just say it's for romantic reasons...

"Ugh," Starry started saying, "Can't you two love birds go somewhere else?!"

"Says the wolf who doesn't have a date!" Opal meanly replied.

As Starry walked away angrily, Tundra thought about the last time she dated. It was nice, until he ran away for no reason. That's why Tundra doesn't date to this day.

Tundra started to walk to her den, but she was interrupted by Ivy.

"Hey, Tundra," Ivy said softly, her blue eyes filled with concern. "Are you doing okay?"

Tundra sighed and sat down beside her friend, her tail swishing back and forth. "I'm fine, I guess," she replied, not meeting Ivy's gaze. "I guess there's just nothing interesting to do today."

"There's always something interesting going on in the pack, if you look for it," Ivy said. "You know, you could always join me to gather herbs."

Tundra considered the offer for a moment before shaking her head. "No thanks."

As they sat in silence for a while, Tundra couldn't help but notice how Ivy's gaze kept flickering over to her. There was something about the way she was looking at her that made Tundra feel uncomfortable.

"Ivy, what's going on?" she finally asked.

Ivy's expression turned serious. "I just wanted to say... well, you know you can always talk to me if something's bothering you." She said.

"Thanks, Ivy," she replied. "I appreciate that." They sat in silence for a moment longer before Tundra stood up. "I think I should go to my den to rest now."

"Of course," Ivy said. "Take all the time you need."

Once she got to her den, she thought she would take a quick nap. As she huddled in her nest, she heard someone place down something near the entrance of her den, and ran away.

As Tundra checked it out, it was a small basket filled with prey. She also noticed a note that said: Even if you won't take this, consider this act a random act of kindness! -Your brother, Icy

Tundra knew it wasn't right, but took it anyway and chowed down on some of the prey before taking her nap.
