Paws of Magic

Chapter 10

Tundra closed her eyes, bracing for impact.

She heard the swift movement of the claw, and felt it slice across her face. Except, she barely felt anything. Confused, Tundra tried to move her paw to her face to see if the wolf had actually done any damage.

But her legs were still tied together.

She moved her jaw, and to her surprise, the thorns were sliced off. She looked at her paws, just to see if they were still tied together. Unfortunately, they were, but Tundra did see a familiar wolf with her paw ready to slice off the other thorns. As she observed the wolf more, they kinda looked like...

Starry! Tundra thought as Starry sliced off the thorns that were tied up on Tundra's legs.

With her legs finally free, Tundra managed to get back on her paws. She looked the other way just in case that enemy wolf was still there, but it looked like it was long gone.

"Thanks." She said to Starry as she turned around to face her.

"No problem." Starry started speaking. "As I was attacking another wolf, I kinda started to smell your sent and another, guessing that was the wolf that tried to kidnap you."

"So...Is the fighting done now, or are we still attacking?" Tundra asked

"All the fighting is done now, the others are back at camp."

Crap, once I get back to camp, I might as well prepare to be imprisoned again by the med wolf. Tundra thought as both of them walked back to camp.

Once they were back at camp, Thunder was the first one to greet them.

"Hey guys! I was looking everywhere for you! Starry, you might want to go to the med den to get those wounds cleaned up. And Tundra, Ivy needs-" Thunder said before she was interrupted by an angry Ivy in the distance.

"SNOWY TUNDRA!!! COME TO THE MEDICAL DEN THIS INSTANT!"

Welp, that got the whole pack silent. After what it seemed like silence for forever, Thunder was the first one to break it.

"Maybe you should go to the med den to make Ivy less madder?" She said to Tundra.

Tundra just sighed and walked over to the med den. She stopped at the entrance for a few moments before walking in, bracing herself for how much time she would waste.

"SNOWY TUNDRA!!! HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?!?!" Ivy shouted angrily.

Tundra just rolled her eyes.

"First, you refused to take your medicine, and then you go into battle while you're injured?! Tundra, you know I dont accept this behavi-"

Tundra just tuned Ivy out, there was nothing entertaining about listening to a med wolf yell at you. After what seemed like hours, she was still stuck in the med den. When all of the sudden...

"SHUT UP!" Starry said somewhere in the distance.

Tundra just walked outside to see what was going on outside. It was probably Starry and Opal arguing again. But hey, at least it was entertaining than what she was doing.

"Hey!" Ivy said "Get back in here!"

Tundra just ignored her and walked to see the argument against Starry and Opal. A few other wolves were also watching.

"JUST SHUT UP ALREADY!" Starry shouted again at Opal. Opal just rolled her eyes in response.

At this point, almost everyone came to see what was happing. The only wolves that weren't there were Fang and Sharp. At least Ivy didn't try and take Tundra back to the med den.

"NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR LOVE LIFE! NO ONE CARE IF YOU'RE GETTING ENGAGED OR NOT! THE ONLY THING I CARE ABOUT IS THAT YOU SHUT UP!" Starry yelled louder.

Opal just had a good laugh at what Starry just said. Once she had managed to stop, she started speaking.

"Wowww," Opal said. "You yelled at me just for being in love with your brother?!"

Starry was pissed. Opal just went back to laughing. The other wolves were dead silent as they were listening to the argument.

"If you insult me one more time..." Starry muttered under her breath, but loud enough so Opal could hear.

"Or what?" Opal replied. "yelling at me isn't gonna-"

"I SAID, SHUT UP!" Starry said as she interrupted Opal.

In anger, Starry lifted up her paw, and clawed Opal's face! Others gasped at what she had done. Opal stepped back from Starry as the blood leaked from her face.

But suddenly, the blood was fading into...black? Tundra gasped, this is what happened in her dream!

Maybe Fern could be trusted after all. She thought as she took a small glance at him. But the way he looked at Opal, did he know all along?

Opal started screaming while the other wolves stared at Starry in shock. The screams attracted Sharp and Fang to see what was going on.

"Opal!" Sharp said in shock, and then turned to Starry. "What did you do?!"

"I don't know!" Starry wined. "All I did was claw her face-"

"You WHAT?!"

"Sharp, calm down." Fang said. "Now, can anyone tell me what actually happened?"

Wait! Tundra thought. This could be my chance to reveal my dream to everyone!

"Well, it-" Tundra managed to say before another cloud of darkness surrounded her
