"What do you mean you failed to capture her?!" Trench heard King Badger yell at Thorn from outside his room.
"Some random purple wolf came out of nowhere and attacked me!" She replied.
"I expected better from you." King Badger said as he walked away.
He could have at least been nicer to Thorn. It also was her first day on the job...Trench thought as he heard Thorn walk to her room.
Welp, better get ready for the secret meeting. He thought as he walked to the window. Even though his room was somewhat high, he was able to climb down with ease.
As Trench made it to the ground, he noticed some thick black smoke in the distance. Luckily, it wasn't somewhere where the meeting was hosted. But none of the guards ran off to report to the king.
What was that king doing? He thought as the smoke was still rising. Well, it's better to report to the group anyway. He ran off into the woods, already being late to the meeting.
