When tundra woke up, she found herself in a space full of darkness. She searched around for light, but there was none to be found. "Hello?" Tundra said "Is anyone here?" The only response was the echo of her voice.
Suddenly, light was shining somewhere. Tundra thought it was best to follow it, seeing there was nowhere better to go. Once she got closer to the light, she could see something in the distance where the light was shining. Maybe that's the source of the light! Tundra thought as she was starting to run to it.
Once she got to the light, she saw two wolves arguing. Their fur was white, so she couldn't tell who they were. But she knew one thing: they looked like they were arguing.
Suddenly, one of the wolves slashed the other wolf in the face, and red blood leaked out of the wolf's face. But the blood was turning... black? Tundra didn't understand. Wolven blood was naturally red, not black. But, that wasn't all. Somehow, the black blood was moving around to cover the wolf? The other wolf was still shocked still in place.
Once the black blood managed to cover up most of the wolf, the image poofed away. What was in its place was some stone with some writing on it. As Tundra got closer, the words said this:
"The blood is the hidden truth."
Before Tundra had time to think about it, she found herself in her nest. She jumped up, and scanned where she was before feeling relieved that she was back in her den. Outside, Tundra saw it was morning, so she guessed that she had slept a little longer than a nap.
"All wolves are called under the pine tree for a meeting" Fang, the second in command called.
Might as well save that weird dream for later... Tundra thought as she pattered to the pine tree. When she arrived, most of the wolves of the pack were already there, even Lily, who is rather more of a nocturnal wolf than a daytime wolf.
"Alright, now that everyone is here, I am happy to announce that we have someone new joining the pack!" Fang happily announced. "Come on up!" After his announcement, a light green wolf walked in and jumped on to the tree.
"Fern," Fang said as he was facing towards Fern, "As of joining this pack, your name shall now be Fernleaf." "Fernleaf! Fernleaf!" The crowd shouted. As the crowd's shouts died down, Fang announced something else. "A hunting patrol is also starting after this meeting. The wolves are..." Fang looked down at his pack of wolves before announcing who was going "Starrydust, Myself, and..." he looked around before saying the last wolf. "Fernleaf. Alright, everyone is dismissed!" The wolves scattered off to do their own thing.
Tundra decided to talk to Ivy about the dream she had last night. As she was walking towards the med den, Thunder came up to check on her. "Hey Tundra!" "Hey." Tundra replied. "Just going to see Ivy" "Ivy went off to collect herbs'' Thunder said "Is there anything that you need to tell her?" "Nothing important. Tundra said as she walked off. Might as well tell Ivy later... Tundra thought to herself, giving up on the idea for now. As she finished her thought, she felt herself plunge into darkness.
