(０３) Wind Breaker

A few minutes later loud noises could be heard outside, people shouting and fists colliding. You look up at Kotoha who was washing the dishes to see if she hears it too even though it's obvious any normal person would hear the commotion going on outside.

"Wait here I'll go check on what's happening even though it's probably just a fight", you say as you jog up to the front door, the bells chiming as you open it to check on the town.

You walk out the door and were soon ambushed by black haired guy with blood dripping down his nose.

"What are you doing!?", you shout at him trying to escape as he holds you hostage with a knife against your neck.

"Hands on your sides bitch!", he shouts at someone and you look up to realize it was directed to Sakura and Sakura had been fighting off this whole gang and you grit your teeth as a bead of sweat drips down your forehead.

"You Furin shits can't do a thing if we take the locals hostage!", he boasts loudly which causes you to give him the biggest glare, if only looks could kill.

He holds the dagger closer to your throat which you respond by trying to lean away.

You look at Sakura and your eyes widen when you see him running towards the guy and powering through 2 guys with a flip before kicking the guy straight in the face and landing on his feet perfectly and causing him to skid across the ground unconscious.

"Thank you!", you say gratefully.

"Don't get it twisted. Those guys pissed me off, is all", Sakura dismissed shortly after.

"Bringing a knife...", he continues, "Let's keep this fight clean, pricks".

Your eyes widen when you see a brown haired guy run up behind him trying to ambush Sakura from behind and before you could warn him of the danger he had already sent a kick straight to the guy's face knocking him face first into a wall.

"I know your type", Sakura says, glancing at the unconscious man.

His action caused the remaining members of the gang to all come at him at once and you sweat drop wondering if he can really take them all on... Well he did hold off for a good while so you didn't completely doubt him.

You watch with widened eyes and slightly opened mouth seeing the teenage boy fight them all off by himself, movements precise and violent.

Sakura then backs up, anger laced with slight worry present on his face probably thinking to himself as you stand not far behind him.

You just stand there like an idiot thinking to yourself, "dang it, there's to many of them".

2 other guys then come at Sakura whom he expertly deflected their attacks and sent them flying.

You gasp when you see one of the injured guys grab at the dagger that had originally been held at your throat and before you could stop him he sliced Sakura's ankle causing Sakura to wince and your jaw drops as you see a guy jump at Sakura getting ready to attack him with a metal bat and a shit eating grin on his face.

Fortunately Sakura dodged it and backed up pressing his back against you as your back collided with a metal garage door. He was still trying to protect you even though he's hurt?

"Sakura!...", you call shakily.

He grits his teeth and watches as more guys prepare to attack. He couldn't do much with a cut ankle.

His eyes widen in shock as the head of a bat comes crashing down and you shut your eyes tightly on instinct.

But the impact doesn't come.
