ALANA ALEXANDRA MILLER
The rest of my classes of the day went pretty well, and I understand that not all of my teachers hate me for no reason and that it's only my Spanish teacher who is a little weird.
There's about an hour and a half left before school is over, and I'm so happy about that.
I go to my locker and grab everything I need for health class, which is a pencilcase, a notebook, and my iPad. When I finish putting everything in my bag, I close my locker, and since I have 15 minutes of break left, I hurry up and leave the school to go to the small convenience store that I spotted this Saturday when Amber dropped me off at the school.
I quickly walk to the store, which is almost directly across the street from the school, and I open the tall glass door to enter. I see several students from my school in the store buying drinks, snacks, and whatever they sell here. I go to an aisle where I can see different flavored gums and take two packs of my favorite sugar-free gum that tastes like strawberries and kiwis.
After that, I take the items and try to look for some cash registers. I find some a few moments later, and I go toward one of the automatic cash registers to pay for my two purchases. After I've paid, I place the two packs of gum in my jacket pocket and head out of the convenience store before crossing the street. I can see a group of five guys noticing me, and they approach me as I am making my way to the school entrance.
I quickly take my phone out of the back pocket of my jeans and pretend to be busy texting someone. A few seconds later, a raven-haired boy comes up to me and asks for my number. I politely decline and tell him that I have to go, but the guy grabs my arm when I try to walk away.
"It wasn't a question but more of a request, baby girl." He says, and I make a disgusted face at the nickname he gave me as I try to get out of his grip. "You're not going anywhere without giving me your number, pretty." He says with a smirk.
"Let go of me!" I shout, hoping that he will finally get the hint that I don't want to give him anything, but of course, he just stares at me, waiting for me to give him what he wants.
"Leave her alone, Marcus." Say a boy who is walking not too far away from us.
The guy named Marcus's eyes change from amusement to fear, and he immediately lets go of my arm. I look at the boy who got me out of this situation, and it is none other than the guy I saw this morning in Spanish class.
The black-haired guy looks me in the eyes one last time and leaves with his friends. I sigh while holding my phone tightly, and I turn my head to the side to see if the boy is still there, but I see him walking to the school entrance. I turn my head back and quickly walk to the school door, hoping that the bell isn't going to ring now and that I have time to take the stairs before they are full of people.
I open one of the school doors and head straight to the central stairs. I walk up the stairs as quickly as possible to get to my class, and I reach the 3rd floor two minutes later. I walk to the class I saw yesterday, and when I am in front of class 327A, I wait next to the door for the teacher to come and open the door.
A few minutes later, the teacher arrives and unlocks the class. The moment I enter the classroom, the first bell rings, and I ask the teacher where I have to sit.
"Sit wherever you want." She tells me, and I go sit at a table towards the back of the class. Two minutes later, several students enter the class at the same time, and I notice Dayanna entering the class talking with two girls.Wait, she sees that I'm in the class. She walks over to me and sits down next to me while her two friends sit on the table next to us.
