Beyonce Knowles
February 22I leaned back in the truck, phone pressed to my ear, listening to the person on the other end go on about plans in New York.
"Yeah, I'm about to head to my jet now," I said, glancing at my watch. "Should be there around twelve, maybe twelve-thirty."
My gaze drifted over to Nicki as Julius opened the door. She gave me that little smile before leaning over and pecking my lips. I couldn't help but grin, my mood instantly lifting.
The call suddenly felt way less important.
I wrapped it up quickly. "Alright, see you soon." Hanging up, I tucked my phone away and looked back at her
I looked over at Nicki, grinning. "How are you, beautiful? You look pretty."
She groaned, rolling her eyes. "It's too damn early, Bey. I don't even have any makeup on, so stop looking at me"
I reached over, gently grabbing her chin to make her look at me. "This face is one of the prettiest I've ever seen. Stop that shit, you hear me?"
She smirked, raising an eyebrow. "You want to be dominant so damn bad. We already know who's the top."
I chuckled, leaning back. "If you think I let you win, then sure."
She laughed, giving me a playful shove. "And did. I fucked you up, Beyonce."
I shook my head, smiling. "And that's the last time."
"It's not, but alright."
I softened a bit, changing the subject. "You happy to see your mom?"
Her face lit up. "Yeah... I think I'll stop and get her some flowers first. She deserves it."
I glanced over at Nicki as the car rolled along, reaching for her hand. "Do you need any money?" I asked.
Nicki rolled her eyes, laughing. "Beyoncé, I can buy flowers. Relax."
I chuckled with her. "I'm just saying, in case you want to go out or something."
She gave me a playful look. "Trust me, I've got more than enough to take her wherever she wants. Thank you, Bey-you've done enough."
"Alright, just let me know. I'll probably be in my meeting for a while, but I want to take you out later in New York."
She raised an eyebrow. "Wait...we're staying in New York overnight?"
I smirked, realizing I'd forgotten to mention it. "Oh, yeah, forgot to tell you. Don't worry about anything; I'll buy you whatever you need."
"You know...." Nicki chuckled, shaking her head. "You're kind of like my suga mama."
I grinned, squeezing her hand. "I just like spoiling you."
