*We cut to a newsreel as we see a newspaper article appear*
Announcer: in a stunning turn of events a superheroine is being sued, for apparently saving someone who didn't want to be saved
The Plaintiff, Oliver McCann who foiled at his attempted suicide by Coregirl, has filed a lawsuit against the famed superheroine in superior court
*we see Oliver McCann with a neck cast as his lawyer speaks to a crowd of people who are asking them about the lawsuit*
Oliver's Lawyer: Mr. McCann didn't ask to be saved, Mr. Mr. McCann didn't want to be saved! And the injury received from Coregirl's "action", so called, causes him daily pain!
*Soon we see Coregirl with her own lawyer angrily confronting him as both lawyers trying to keep their client from attacking the other*
Coregirl: *angry* HEY! I SAVED YOUR LIFE!
Mr McCann: you didn't save my life you damn superhero you ruined my death! My life was already miserable as it was until you intervened!
Coregirl: *gritting her teeth* listen you little piece of-
*Coregirl's lawyer stops her from attacking Mr McCann*
Lawyer: my client has no further comment at this time
*We cut to the train track being repaired by construction crews*
Announcer: 5 days later another lawsuit was filed by the victims of the train accident
*as the Announcer says this we see the people from the train in casts as they angrily glare at Coregirl, as a lawyer accusingly points at her*
Announcer: Coregirl's court loses costed the government millions, and became the floodgates of dozens of superhero lawsuits the world over
*We see a Judge making a press statement to a crowd*
Judge: it is time for their secret identity to become their own identity, superhero's have become more of a burden then a net positive for our society
It's time for them to join our society or they can leave and never return
*as this occurs we see Coregirl as she sadly leaves a press conference where some superhero supporters are saddened by the fact she's forced to retire after years of crime fighting
as we then cut to two separate protests, one group of protesters are in support of superheroes*
Man: this is madness! You can't make superheroes illegal, crime rates will go up!
Woman: do you even care about the children!?
*as the sympathizers speak up another protester group those that want superheroes illegal speak up*
Woman 2: oh you're the one to talk, these people cause a lot of collateral damage, injure or kill innocent lives on accident while they're fighting crime the world is better off without superheroes
Man 3: exactly! My wife was killed by a super when he was fighting a villain! Who cares if crime goes up or not
*suddenly a man from the superhero sympathetic protest punches the man in the face and suddenly the two protest groups get into a physical fight, we see other anti-superhero protesters speak*
Protestors: No More supers! Hang up the cape & Spandex and never come back! No more supers! Superheroes go home! No more supers! The world won't miss you at all!
