Evelyn woke up by the brightness seeping through the window.
"Ummmm....... It's already morning? ", the lazy milky voice sounded, stretching her arms.

She looked to her side and as expected Alexander was long gone. She pulled the calling rope beside the bed and soon someone knocked on the door.

" Come in", Evelyn slowly got out of bed still in her sleepy mode. She always felt lazy when she woke up.

"Good morning, Miss. I have already prepared your bath water", lily greeted her with a smile and bought the wash basin to her while speaking. Evelyn grinned and replied, " Good morning to you too, lily. Thank you for your help".

"It's no problem, miss. Shall I help you take a bath? ".Evelyn was going to agree but suddenly she shook her head in denial. Remembering last night's passionate biting, she was embarrassed to let lily see her body.

" Certainly, miss. I'll be waiting outside then. If you need any help just call me", lily bowed slightly. She already felt heart dancing seeing the cute little girl.

"Ahh... Sure. Umm... Lily where's Ale... I mean his highness", Evelyn hesitated a bit before asking. Lily diligently reported what her master already instructed her.

" His highness is in the training ground. He said he'll wait for you to wake to have breakfast together ", lily replied.
" Oh no, I must have kept him waiting ", Evelyn stood up and ran towards the bathroom.

She took off her nightgown and was about enter the bathtub when she saw at her reflection and was stunned. She lips were quite red and swollen. Evelyn tilted her head in confusion and furrowed her brows.

'Was I bitten by some insects? '. Well she shook her head and didn't dwell on it Alexander must already be waiting for her.

Finishing her bath as quickly as possible Evelyn wrapped herself in the bathrobe prepared by lily earlier. Now this room had not only Alexander's wardrobe but also hers.

Evelyn didn't even know when all of this was prepared. Changing into a pastel green dress and braiding her long hair Evelyn finally went towards the dining hall.

When she entered, she saw Alexander listening to the reports from Sir Luke who was standing beside him. Sir Luke saw her and smiled politely while greeting, "Good morning, miss rabbit".

Evelyn was smiled and big pink orbs shining, " Good morning to you too Sir Luke".Evelyn felt someone's gaze on her and already knew who this strong gaze belonged.

She looked towards the source and as expected there he was the Black Panther prince staring at her with his usual icy eyes.

Evelyn was a little embarrassed, remembering how this cold faced man was so bad at night that he would constantly bite her without letting go.

"Come and sit down", a deep voice directed at her and Evelyn followed not meeting his eyes. Soon the food was served and they had a hearty meal.

Although the whole process was silent but the man beside her constantly added food onto her plate. After some time Evelyn was the little mountain of meat and veggies on her plate and glared at the culprit.

Alexander just smiled faintly and patted her head, " Eat more , you're too weak", there was an ambiguity in his voice that Evelyn couldn't understand but thinking about growing tall she braced herself and ate until fully stuffed.

If you have height, you can fight. Evelyn wanted to be taller and sometimes she was even envious of this cold panther. Tsk! Tsk! Truly unfair.

The little rabbit was daydreaming in her own fantasies when her frail body was suddenly lifted onto the air. Evelyn gasped and came face to face with the handsome cold man.

"Play in my study", Alexander hugged the warm little girl in his arms and strode with his long legs.
" But why your study? ", the little girl tilted her head confused.

Alexander licked his lips, without saying anything. Reaching the crown prince's study Alexander sat on his desk with Evelyn on his lap.

" What do you want to do? ", Alexander's charming voice resonated near Evelyn's sensitive ear. Evelyn scratched his milky ears and looked around the office.

Her gaze stopped at the bookself and her pink jewel like eyes lit up. " I want to read books ".Without waiting for Alexander's reply Evelyn jumped off his lap and ran towards the shelf.

Alexander sighed inwardly. The path of wife chasing is truly an arduous one. This heartless little rabbit!

Oblivious to someone's bitterness, Evelyn happily selected her books from the vast variety on the shelf. This panther had a rich selection of books.

Evelyn's eyes caught an interesting red cover book. It piqued her curiosity so she took it out. The title of the book was 'Imprinting soulmate'.

"Alexander what does imprinting mean? ", Evelyn looked at the man who was working seriously . Alexander paused a bit, the dark blue orbs turned even darker but the drooping eyelids hid his thoughts.

The man resumed his work and replied without lifting his head up, " You will know in the future ".
Evelyn puffed her cheeks a bit angry, " Why can't I know now? "

This time the devilishly handsome man looked up keeping eye contact he spoke every word as if promising an unknown future, "You can't bear it".
Evelyn, "??? ".Brother, are we still speaking the same language!
