Chapter: 4

After breakfast the whole army started their journey to return to the palace. Evelyn was in the pocket of Alexander , while he rode a black majestic horse.

This man was really handsome although his character is a bit rotten, thought Evelyn. After hours, they finally reached the Orlando empire. There were many citizens cheering and welcoming there noble prince.

The army galloped through like wind and soon reached the palace. The prince dismounted from the horse and strode forward.
Evelyn peeked through his pocket, the gate of the imperial palace was very large and grand. The knights opened it beforehand and the army marched through.

The palace was breathtaking . It was a combination of white and gold very elegant architecture with rare flowers and fountains. Evelyn's eyes widened with shock when she saw the crest .
It was a majestic black Panther holding a sword.

Even a person like Evelyn ,who never got outside of their state knew about the imperial family. Their tales were so fearsome that no one in their right mind dared to offend them.

Evelyn felt like crying, she lifted her face stiffly and looked at the handsome man who was referred as the lunatic prince of social world.
She was dead! She would become grilled rabbit soon Q_Q

Sensing the heated gaze, Alex looked downwards and saw the little rabbit looking at him with watery eyes. He stretched his hand and rubbed her head, "Be good, we will reach home soon".

When Evelyn heard him, her heart shook a bit. 'Home! Was he saying this was her home too'. She felt her heart warm and hid inside his pocket again.

Alexander didn't wait for formalities, he strode straight towards his palace. All the maids and butler stood in rows and bowed, " Welcome , Crown prince ".Alex nodded at them and went to his room.

He slumped on the sofa and took out the little one, placing her on his lap. The snow white rabbit sat and looked at him with big eyes.

Alex smiled and asked her, " Little bunny, do you have a name? "
  Evelyn hurriedly nodded, 'She did! She did! '
Alex smiled even more brightly, "Can you turn into human? "
He could clearly smell the unique sweet smell from her although it was faint so he was sure she must be a shape shifter. But why didn't she turn human. He was quite curious about it.

Evelyn was a little sad. She was called a defective beast and many cursed her because of her incompetence. She shook her head sideways indicating no .

However, Alex didn't think much about it. He picked her up in his palm and came face to face with her. "It's fine if you can't now. You'll eventually learn it in the future".

His voice was very nonchalant but Evelyn felt her whole world brightening up by his words. He didn't despise her. He didn't call her a failure. She blushed and hid her face with her paws.

Suddenly Alex's voice came, "Now it's time for bath". Shock was written all over her face. She struggled and wanted to run but was caught by the Wicked man. Hateful! Too Hateful!

She fluttered her paws her nanny said, 'Men and women can't bath casually. This pervert! '
But her struggle was useless she was bought into the the bathroom.

He then filled the bathtub with warm water, checked the temperature and put her inside it. Gently scrubbing despite her resistance. "Be good, you must take a bath everyday. Otherwise, you'll become a dirty rabbit".

She glared at him but couldn't refute. Only letting the dog man clean her body. After the shower he wrapped her in a white fluffy towel and put her to the bed gently rubbing the excess water.

She looked so cute and adorable that he wanted to take a bite out of her but could only resist himself. Otherwise he might scare the baby rabbit.

    "Stay here, I'll go and take a bath", he turned around and walked to the bathroom but stopped midway and smirked, " If you run around, I'll order the kitchen to make rabbit soup ".

Evelyn glared at him. This lunatic panther was too much.

She looked around the room. It was very big with luxurious furniture. The walls were painted black and so was the curtain. There was a large balcony where the moon could be seen peaking out. Today was her eighteenth birthday.

She wondered was she cursed? Maybe that's why she couldn't change. There was a click sound in the silence. Evelyn looked towards the sound and saw Alex coming out only wearing a towel on his waist.

He was like a Greek sculpture. Black hair glistened with water droplets, he was quite bulky but had a narrow waist with eight pack abs. Too indecent! Too indecent. Her eyes need holy water.

Alex looked at the rabbit who suddenly hide her face in the blanket chuckled and went towards her.
    "What lewd things are you thinking in that little head of yours? "

Evelyn was angry but she didn't want to face him like this so she continued to ignore him. Alex laughed out loud then went to his closet room and got changed.

He was wearing black sleeping robe. His chest muscles peeked from within. He was 6 feet 3 inches tall so every stride he took screamed with dominance.

He went to the bed and pulled the rabbit out placing her to his pillow. He didn't want to accidentally crush the little guy.
"Be good, kids should sleep early"

He patiently petted her but she got furious and smacked his hand. She shook her head fiercely. Alex looked at her and asked , "Are you an adult? "
