Sidharth open his eyes feeling something wet on his face, he smile when he saw his wife pampering him with kisses. It was his birthday, they completed their one year of marriage last month where Sidharth arranged a wedding Photoshoot for them for their memories.
"Happy birthday my cupcake" she giggle when Sidharth frown.
"Stop giving me name after whatever you ate" he said getting irritate as she always give him new name which is obviously by her first love food.
She giggle and pulled him when clock strick 12,"acha uthiye".
He sat straight "baby subha baat karte hai na" he said in sleepy tone.
"Bilkul nahi, aap ruko main do mint me aati hu sona mat" she said sternly and went to the take his gift.
He chuckle "ye sab kya hai?" He said looking at the gift and cake.
"Aapke 30th birthday par 30 gifts" she said with a smile and sat beside him. "Ab inko open kijiye".
Sidharth looked at the pile of gifts in awe, his sleepiness slowly melting away as curiosity took over. He glanced at Shehnaaz, who was sitting beside him with a mischievous smile, her eyes twinkling with excitement.
"Thirty gifts?" he asked, his voice a mixture of amusement and surprise "Aapne toh kamal kar diya, Mrs. Shukla"
Shehnaaz grinned, nudging him. "Haan toh? Itna bada din hai aapka. Toh special treatment toh banta hai na!"
Sidharth chuckled, feeling a warmth in his heart that only she could bring. "Alright, chalo shuru karte hain" he said, reaching for the first gift.
As he unwrapped it, he found a small, hand-made scrapbook filled with their photos, little love notes, and memories they had shared together. His smile grew as he flipped through each page, feeling the love and effort she had put into making it.
"Yeh toh... bohot special hai, Shehnaaz" he said softly, glancing at her with gratitude in his eyes.
Shehnaaz blushed, trying to play it cool "Abhi toh aur bhi gifts hain, Mr. Shukla. Dekhte jao!"
One by one, he opened the gifts, each one more thoughtful than the last, a custom-made watch engraved with the date they first met, a cozy sweater she knew he would love, a collection of his favorite snacks, and even a little desk family picture for his office. Their picture to keep it in his purse.
As he opened the twentieth gift, he looked at her, his eyes filled with love "Tumhe yeh sab kaise yaad rehta hai? You thought of everything I love"
Shehnaaz laughed, brushing it off "Bas, apna pyaar dikhane ka tareeka hai yeh. Aapke liye kuch bhi"
By the time he reached the last gift, Sidharth was genuinely moved. It was a small box, and inside, he found a simple, elegant ring with their initials engraved on it.
Sidharth held the ring, his fingers tracing over the initials. He looked at her, speechless, and then gently slipped the ring on his finger.
Shehnaaz leaned closer, her voice soft and filled with emotion "Happy birthday, Sidharth. I just want you to know how much you mean to me. Thank you for being mine."
Sidharth couldn't resist any longer. He pulled her into a tight hug, his heart full of love for the woman who knew him better than anyone else. "Thank you, Shehnaaz. Yeh sab mere liye bohot maayne rakhta hai. Tum mere life ki best gift ho"
They stayed like that for a moment, lost in each other's embrace, feeling the warmth and love that only grew stronger with time.
Just as Sidharth and Shehnaaz were lost in their moment, the door suddenly swung open, and in barged Rudra, followed by Nisha, Avni, Vidyut and Neil, all of them grinning mischievously.
