The soft morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the Shukla mansion. The house was quiet, but only for a moment, before the laughter of children filled the air.
In the living room, Shehnaaz sat on the plush sofa, a smile playing on her lips as she watched Sidharth, who was kneeling on the floor, holding their son, Ekansh. The little boy, now four years old, was giggling uncontrollably as Sidharth tried to make funny faces at him. Ekansh, with his wide eyes and curly hair, had inherited his father's serious demeanor but his mother's playful spirit.
"Papa, again!" Ekansh demanded, pointing at his father with a tiny finger, his face lighting up with excitement.
Sidharth smiled and complied, making a face so exaggerated that Ekansh burst into a fit of laughter, his tiny hands clapping joyously.
Shehnaaz, watching the two of them together, felt a deep sense of contentment settle in her heart. These moments, moments with Sidharth, with Ekansh....were the pieces of her life that she cherished most.
Alaia, their second child, toddled into the room, her chubby little legs carrying her with an adorable waddle. She had just turned one, with her dark eyes sparkling with curiosity. The moment she saw her father, she stretched out her arms, calling for him.
"Papa!" she squealed, her voice full of innocence.
Sidharth, ever the doting father, immediately picked her up, lifting her high into the air, making her giggle as she held on tightly to his shirt.
"Alaia, my princess," he cooed, kissing her cheek.
Shehnaaz watched her children with a heart full of love. It was not just the beauty of motherhood; it was the miracle of how everything had come together. After years of uncertainty, after the ups and downs, and every other challenge they had faced, this was their reward. Their children, their love, their family.
Ekansh ran over to Shehnaaz, pulling on her saree. "Mumma, look at me!" he announced, spinning around in circles, his laughter ringing through the room.
Shehnaaz pulled him onto her lap, holding him close as he continued to giggle. "Aap kitne jaldi bade ho rahe ho, Ekansh" she whispered softly in his ear, kissing the top of his head.
"Maa bacche itne jaldi kiu bade hote hai?" She asked Rita maa who was sitting there.
She chuckle "main bhi yahi sochti thi aur ab dekho dadi ban kar bethi hu itne saaro ki"
Shehnaaz smile and move her head in disbelief "wo dekhiye aa rahe hai aapke pote" she point towards the gate where Vidyut and Nisha coming inside with their twins boys Luv and Kush. They both are 1 year younger to Ekansh.
Avni and Neil give birth to a baby girl who is 2 years old now. They named her Aditi.
Kushal and Meeti get married two years ago and they give birth to a Baby boy. They name their baby Krish.
Meanwhile our Rudra was engaged with a girl name Prisha. Ashnoor was doing her internship.
"Dadiiii" Luv and Kush run towards Rita maa and hug her.
"Kesa raha nani ke ghar ka tour"
"Acha tha but we missed you" Luv said and hug her.
Sidharth joined them on the couch, with Alaia still cradled in his arms. The family sat together, the children playing happily, the parents exchanging smiles filled with understanding and gratitude. Life had been full of challenges, but it was these moments, the small but profound moments of togetherness, that made everything worth it.
"Sidharth kiu na hum baccho ko lekar farmhouse chale?" Shehnaaz asked with excitement.
"No a bad idea bacche gaye bhi nahi hai, haina mom"
