Chap 13: Back together

(Taylor is now on her break for two months off the eras tour)

~After Taylors Denver shows~

Travis Pov:

I'm at the private airport waiting for tay. She just got on her break after Denver shows and I haven't been able to see her for a few weeks. I miss her so much but I'll be able to see her in just a few minutes. It says her flight is almost here. She's on her private jet like she always is. I take a deep breathe in. I hear a huge plane arrive in. I think that's her. I sit and wait at the entrance at the airport. I see her in the distance. She's wearing comfy clothes.

She looks gorgeous in whatever she wears. She sees me and drops her stuff. Her bodyguards smile and pick up her suitcase and her instruments and other luggage. She runs over to me and jumps into my arms.

Taylor: "Oh my god I missed you." She says into my neck

Travis: "I missed you so much more tay." I kiss her cheek

Taylor: "I've been waiting all day to see you all day!!"

She smiles and I get to look into her gorgeous eyes.

Travis: "I've been waiting to baby it's been too long."

I kiss her lips and she smiles into it. I stop kissing her a second later. She squeezes me.  I let her down.

Taylor: "I love you so much." She looks at me

Travis: "I love you so much my lady." I put my arm around her

Taylor: *giggles* "I'm so sorry drew. I just dropped everything!" She apologizes

Drew: "No it's fine I'm your bodyguard anyway I'm supposed to help you I can carry it all."

Taylor's pov:

Meridith meows in the carrier along with Benji. Olivia is in her own carrier. We finally get to the car. Travis opens my door and I get in. Drew and Janell get all my stuff in the trunk. Travis gets in on the other side of the car. He looks over at me and I look at him. His hand goes on my hand. I'm not tired from the flight which is good. Im sometimes tired after a show.

I feel like I need a nap we have a 2 hour long drive ahead of us. I close my eyes and lean against Travis shoulder.

Travis Pov:

It seems like tay is tired after the flight. She's up against my shoulder sound asleep. I move her a little bit so she's against my chest and my arm is wrapped around her.
. I want her to be comfortable. Benji is sitting on my lap. Olivia is sound asleep in her cat carrier next to tay. Meridith is sleeping next to Benji but not on my lap.

It's going to be a long car ride home. Just like it was to get here. I check the time on my phone and it says 4:15 it's only 4 in the afternoon. It won't get dark for another 3 hours. I hope Tay won't be up all night. I put my airpods in and listen to 1989 TV. It was just released yesterday. The first song that plays is 'Is it Over Now?' it's probably my favorite fault track. I listened to her music before I started talking to Tay. And now I love her music even more. Her singing voice means everything to me. I hum the lyrics to the song and look out the window. I hear a little noise from tay.

Travis: "Are you awake baby?" I look down at her sleepy face

Taylor: "Mnnn..."

Travis: "Are you?" I smile

Taylor: "Mm..." She lets out a little yawn

Travis: "Baby..." I play with her bangs

Taylor: "Mnnn..."

Travis: "Someone's a bit tired."

Taylor: "Let me sleeeep..."

Travis: "Okay baby, I love you."

Taylor: "I love you" she whispers

I play with her hair and she falls back asleep. I go back to listening to Taylor's music and blank space plays. I hum the lyrics to the song. We're already half way there. Just an hour left to get there. I look at the scenery outside.

~Travis House~

We're finally home. It's Taylors first time being here. Janell pulls into the driveway and parks the car. He gets out and opens the door. Tay is fully asleep.

Travis: "I'll carry her inside it's okay." I smile

Janell: "You sure you don't want to wake her up?"

Travis: "No I don't want to disturb her slumber."

Janell: "Okay."

I get out of the car first and then I pick up Tay. Her head goes onto my shoulder and her arms are under her chin. Drew and Janell get Taylor's luggage and her instruments. I unlock the door and leave the door open for Drew and Janell. They bring the cats in too.

Drew: "I hope you guys have a goodnight we'll see her when you guys go out to eat or anything. Goodnight you two." He smiles

Janell doesn't say anything they both get into the car and take off. The cats wander around. I have a littler box and everything for them. Which I nearly forgot about but I got it. Tay is snoring and I gently put her down on the couch. I put a soft blanket over her to keep her warm and her head in a soft pillow. I put wood in the fireplace and light it. It warms the room up pretty quickly. I'm getting kinda hungry. I look over at tay and kiss her forehead. I go into the fridge and look in to see what I've got.

I look in the fridge and see leftover chicken from last night. I hear a noise from the living room and I look out the kitchen island window and see tay awake. I heat up the chicken in the microwave. I turn around to put 5 minutes in the clock on the microwave.

Tay wraps her arms around me from behind.

Travis: "Hi baby." I smile

Taylor: "Mmm.. Hi trav."

Travis: "How was your nap?" I ask

Taylor: "It was good..." She says tiredly

I turn around so I'm facing her. I look down at her pretty face. She doesn't have any makeup on. She looks beautiful without it on too. She looks up at me on her tippy toes. She's 5'11 and somehow she looks 5'5. I smile and kiss her soft lips. She kisses me softly back. We both stop kissing and I play with her hair. The microwave beeps and I take the chicken out.

Travis: "Want some?"

Taylor: "I'm a little hungry... Yeah."

We go sit on the couch and eat our dinner. I put American pie on for the both of us to watch. She moves closer to me and ends up in my lap she lays down between me.

Taylor: "Can you keep me warm?"

Travis: "Always."

I wrap the both of us in a blanket and she gets her self comfortable. The fire is still going the episode we are on is almost over. I think tay is tired again. I'm getting tired too.

Travis: "Can I show you around the house tomorrow? I forgot to earlier since you were peacefully asleep." I smile

Taylor: "Yes you can I'd like to see the house. Can we go up?" She yawns

Travis: "Yeah we can I'm exhausted." I stroke her hair

I pick her up and put the blanket down on the couch. Meridith wakes up and she follows us upstairs into my room. We get up into our room and I gently put Tay down onto the bed. She groans and I put the comforter over her and a soft blanket. I go into bed and sleep on the other side. This feels good.
