Chap 14: Midnight

Travis Pov:

I just woke up I don't know what time it is. I check my phone and it says 12:01. It's midnight. I go into the bathroom and go use the bathroom. My room feels hot and I don't know why. I take my shirt off and go to the kitchen for a midnight snack. I turn the light on in the kitchen. I grab some cookies and eat them in the kitchen. I hear footsteps either could be the cats or tay. It sounds like tay and not a cat. She's holding Benji in her arms and she looks exhausted. He's asleep in tays arms.

Travis: "Baby, why are you awake? You don't have to be awake I'm just getting a snack."

Taylor: "I wanted a snack t-..." Her face goes red

Travis: "What's the matter?"

Taylor's pov:

I didn't realize he had his shirt off. I put Benji on the couch and let him rest he makes a sound then goes back to sleep. My whole body feels hot. His muscles and everything are just so...

Travis: "Tay?"

I snap out of whatever I'm in.

Taylor: "Nothing nothing!" I blush

Travis: "Somethings up."

I bite down on my lower lip.

Travis: "Do you like what your seeing?"

I nod my head a little and I smirk a little.

'Tay stop before something happens' I say to myself in my mind

Travis: "Are you okay?" Travis says getting up

I take a big gulp and look up at him. He looks down at me smiling. I don't know what to do or even say. I think he knows. I kiss him on the lips softly and he kisses me back softly. We break apart a second later.

Travis: "Let's go to bed sweat pea." He smiles

We walk upstairs and go back to bed. I take the covers off of me it's like 100 degrees in here.

Taylor: "Travis?"

Travis: "Yeah baby?";

Taylor: "Can you turn the heat on it's really hot in here?"

Travis: "I'll go turn it on do you want the fan on too?"

Taylor: "Please."

He walks out of the room and goes downstairs to turn it on. He takes about 5 minutes and he's back up. It starts to get cold when he comes back up. He turns the fan on and we cuddle.

Taylor: "I love you so so much."

Travis: "I love you too the moon and to Saturn."

He used a reference to my song. Even though we can't see eachother due to the darkness I smile. We're both so close to eachother. My back is towards him and his head is on my shoulder. I feel so comfortable and safe. He's like a gentle giant.

Gentle giant.
