After 17 years:-
Kim Taehyung, a handsome 17-year-old, slumbered peacefully in his sun-drenched room. The warm rays streaming through the windows highlighted his serene face.
His mother, Mina, gently roused him. "Taehyungie, my baby, wake up! You'll be late for school."
Taehyung stirred, rubbing his eyes, and pleaded, "Eomma, just a little more sleep, please."
Mina's expression turned stern. "No, get up now. Your sister is waiting downstairs."
Taehyung reluctantly rose, shuffled to the shower, and freshened up. Mina smiled, witnessing her son's morning routine.
As Taehyung approached his 18th birthday, his family recalled the joy surrounding his birth. However, they were perplexed by an unusual aspect: Taehyung, an omega, lacked the characteristic sweet scent typical of his kind. His physique, too, defied expectations – buff, yet not quite alpha-like, nor typically omega.
This ambiguity led many to mistake Taehyung for a beta. But two traits confirmed his omega nature: heightened sensitivity to smells and noises, and vulnerability.
Mina observed her son, her thoughts drifting to the challenges he might face. As an omega with an unconventional profile, Taehyung's path wouldn't be easy.
Following his morning routine, Taehyung descended the stairs, joining his family in the cozy breakfast nook. His sister, Bora, sat alongside their parents, Daehyun and Mina.
As Taehyung entered, Bora's eyes narrowed, her gaze flashing with resentment. Under her breath, she muttered a subtle curse, her animosity toward her brother simmering just below the surface.
Bora harbored a deep-seated jealousy, feeling overshadowed by Taehyung's privileged position in their parents' eyes. She perceived him as the favored child, receiving undue attention from their family and others.
Despite her true emotions, Bora maintained a facade of sibling affection, concealing her envy behind a mask of warmth.
"Good morning," Taehyung said, greeting his family with a cheerful smile.
Daehyun and Mina exchanged loving glances before responding in unison, "Good morning, son."
Bora's reply was curt, though polite, "Morning, Taehyungie."
Taehyung remained oblivious to his sister's hidden sentiments, unaware of the turbulent emotions churning beneath her composed exterior.
After finishing breakfast, Bora urged, "Let's go, Taehyung. We don't want to be late for college."
Taehyung nodded and hastily finished his meal. As they left, Bora's excitement grew.
Upon arriving at college, Taehyung sighed at the sea of students, but Bora squealed, "Oh my God, Jungkookie is early today!"
Taehyung rolled his eyes good-naturedly as Bora gushed over the prince's arrival. Jeon Jungkook, the prince of the Moonlight Pack, was a celebrated figure. As one of the two dominant packs, the Moonlight Pack's influence was unparalleled.
The Moonlight Pack's superiority was uncontested, with the Red Shadow Pack posing the only potential threat. Rumors swirled about the Red Shadow Pack's cunning king, who allegedly sold his soul to the devil. Whispers spoke of his relentless search for an omega to solidify his power.
Unbeknownst to Taehyung, he possessed the very trait the Red Shadow Pack's king sought. Only his parents, Daehyun and Mina, and their trusted doctor knew the truth: Taehyung was an omega.
As they navigated the crowded campus, Taehyung remained oblivious to his unique status and the dangers lurking in the shadows.
Bora turned to Taehyung, her voice barely above a whisper. "Tae, you go ahead. I'll catch up with Jungkook." She shyly tucked a stray lock behind her ear.
Taehyung nodded and headed to his class. En route, he collided with his best friend, Jimin.
Jimin's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Thank goodness you're here, Taehyung! I've missed you terribly," he exclaimed, his tone dramatic.
Taehyung chuckled. "Jimin, we just hung out yesterday. You're acting like we're reuniting after centuries."
Jimin rolled his eyes, grinning. "Whatever, Tae. Let's go!"
Together, they walked to their classroom, their easy banter filling the corridor.
Seated at the last bench, Jimin and Taehyung tried to focus on the English lecture, but their minds wandered. Jimin leaned in, whispering, "Taehyungie, your birthday's just three days away. Are you excited to meet your mate?"
Taehyung's heart skipped a beat, his pulse racing wildly. Livosa, his wolf, let out a joyful howl. Taehyung's eyes locked onto Jimin's, his voice barely audible. "I'm nervous, Jimin. What if my mate doesn't recognize me? I don't have a scent."
Jimin's expression turned reassuring. "Don't worry, Tae. You're stunning. If I weren't already mated, I'd definitely court you." He winked, and Taehyung chuckled.
"Thanks, Jimin. You're always boosting my confidence," Taehyung whispered, his anxiety slightly alleviated.
Their professor's stern voice cut through the chatter, "Park Jimin and Kim Taehyung, leave my class immediately! Your distraction is disrupting the other students' focus."
Sheepishly, Jimin and Taehyung rose from their seats, bowing apologetically. "Sorry, professor," they murmured in unison, before beating a hasty retreat.
Outside, Jimin's restraint dissolved, and he burst into laughter. "Thank goodness we're out! That class was a snooze fest anyway," he chuckled.
Taehyung shook his head, a smile spreading across his face. "You're impossible, Jimin," he said, chuckling.
Jimin grinned mischievously. "Hey, someone's got to keep things interesting around here."
Their laughter echoed through the corridor, drawing curious glances from passing students.
