After their shopping spree, Jungkook's playful gaze met Taehyung's, his eyebrow raised in mischief. "Want to surprise our friends?" he asked, his voice laced with excitement. Taehyung's lips curled into a sly smile as he pecked Jungkook's cheek. "Sure, my alpha," he whispered, sending Jungkook's heart fluttering.Taehyung dialed Jimin's number, gesturing Jungkook to remain silent. After a few rings, Jimin answered, and Taehyung's serious tone replaced his previous playfulness. "Jimin, meet me at the same café where we last met. Bring Yoongi, Hoseok, and Jin hyung too. It's about Jungkook. I'll be there in 30 minutes." Before Jimin could respond, Taehyung ended the call.
A mischievous grin spread across Taehyung's face. "Let's go and meet our friends, my alpha." Jungkook's eyes sparkled with anticipation.
Jimin's concern was palpable as he relayed Taehyung's message to the others. "Guys, it's about Jungkook. Meet me at the café in 15 minutes." The group assembled at the café, anxiety etched on their faces.
"Taehyung sounded so serious," Jimin worried, his brow furrowed. "What if our plan didn't work?" Hoseok's frustration boiled over. "I knew that Namjoon guy was suspicious. We shouldn't have trusted him." Jin nodded in agreement, his expression grim.
"What if Jungkook rejected or did something to Taehyung?" Jimin's voice trembled. Yoongi's calming touch on Jimin's hand eased his tension. "Relax, Jimin, everything will work out. We're all with Taehyung. We'll find another way to stop this marriage."
The café door swung open, and Taehyung and Jungkook walked in, their serious expressions commanding attention. Their friends' worried and confused glances locked onto them, filling the air with tension. As they sat down, Jin's concern spilled over. "Jungkook, are you okay?" he asked, his voice laced with empathy.
Jungkook's scoff echoed through the café, his eyes flashing with annoyance. "You guys tried to break my marriage, and now you're asking if I'm okay?" Yoongi intervened, "Look, Jungkook, that girl—". But Jungkook cut him off, his tone firm. "And what? She's my fiancée."
The word hung in the air, thick with unspoken meaning.
Everyone looked on, concerned and worried, until Taehyung's chuckle eased the strain. "Okay, let's stop this, Jungkook. Look, they seem worried," he said, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
Jungkook's face softened, his smile radiant. "Okay, my love," he whispered, pecking Taehyung's lips. The tender gesture sent shockwaves through their friends.
Their jaws dropped in unison, surprise etched on their faces. Jimin whispered, "You kissed him." Jungkook's proud declaration silenced the them. "And? He's my mate, my love."
The words hung in the air, a beacon of love and acceptance. Jimin and Hoseok squealed loudly, drawing the attention of other customers, who looked on with curiosity.
"What's going on here?" a nearby customer asked, amused. Jin hastily intervened. "Just a, uh, happy reunion." As the commotion subsided, Yoongi's eyes narrowed. "So, you two are...?" Taehyung's smile gleamed. "We're getting married, in five days." The friends erupted into cheers and applause, a joyful celebration of love
Their celebratory cheers subsided swiftly as other customers glared, disapproving of the disruption. Jimin, Hoseok, and the others bowed apologetically, acknowledging the disturbance.
Jimin's curiosity resurfaced. "So, Taehyung told you everything, Jungkook?"
Jungkook's sigh was weighted. "Yes, I know everything."
Their friends hummed collectively, processing this revelation. Yoongi's brow furrowed. "What about Bora now? She must be enraged."
Jungkook shrugged nonchalantly. "She's in house prison. We don't need to worry about it."
Though reassured, Jin's concern lingered. "That girl was so obsessed with you, Jungkook. We shouldn't let our guards down."
Yoongi and the others nodded in agreement, acknowledging the potential threat.
Taehyung's calming presence eased their worries. "We know. Guards are always around her room to prevent her from going outside."
Hoseok's practicality kicked in. "And what about the wedding preparations? Are they still on track?"
Taehyung smiled. "Everything's proceeding as planned. We're getting married in five days."
Jimin's excitement resurfaced. "We should start making arrangements for the wedding then!"
The group's laughter filled the café, their joy infectious.
