"Who was that? I've never seen them before?" Her father asked  himself because while he was looking for his daughter down the hall, jeongguk and his elegant mother walked away from the woman's bathroom, the same one his daughter always went to during church.

While approaching he heard a shuffle though even that the door was open he didn't come into view to look inside, it wasn't like a man of god to look into opposite gender bathrooms even if he was looking for his little baby girl. The man settled with knocking on the open door making sure he couldn't see anything. "Baby girl? The sermon is over it's time to go home" he spoke, a voice like honey and kindness. It was sweet how much his little girl meant to him.

"Yeah one second please papa!" Aliza grabbed the sketch book jeongguk had in the bathroom that the both of them forgot about when his mother showed up. She gathered the drawing materials for the boy so hopefully she'd be able to give it to him soon. Next Sunday or during the school week.

Aliza stood on her feet almost dropping the weighty sketchbook and pencils. Step by step her legs carried her in view of her father. "Who belongings are those?" He asked staring down from his tall height to the girl before him. "It's my new friend's!" She beamed, rocking back and forth on her own brown Mary janes.

The buff dark skinned man reached down taking the materials from her arms gently, she knew her father wouldn't damage them so she couldn't care less that he was holding it for her. After he grabbed the stuff from her, he placed that black book underneath his armpit and the pens and pencils in his left hand using his right to reach for his daughters hand. "Ready?" Aliza nodded swinging her intertwined fingers with her father back in forth full of excitement. "Yes papa!" The two made their way from the halls of the church in the way back towards the front.

A pretty lady dressed in blue waiting patiently for her husband and daughter to appear from the corner they always came from. Blonde hair straight and a big rock on her finger. Her stance a little awkward until she looked up, Noticing the two approaching her, she used her two hands to cup her husbands face placing a soft kiss on his plush lips, Aliza cringed, yeah sure it was cute but it was still her parents. After the two adults reconnecting within what felt like hours her mother bent down to dust off her daughters pink dress kissing her forehead.

"Mama please stop kissing papas lips and then using those same lips to kiss my forehead ewwww." Aliza giggle though she was completely serious her parents didn't need to know that. The adults just smiled at the fact that their love shows through their own actions, a few years ago it was rough so the change they went through to get here was relief. "Dante?" Her mother whispered so the ladies of the church gathered around won't hear.

The women always tried to be extremely nosy since her mothers accident though they tried to play it off and it never worked, their actions were corrupted non the less. "Yes beautiful?" Dante, her father matched his wife's energy whispering because he caught the memo. Aliza wouldn't admit it but she liked watching how good her parents are to eachother. They could have a conversation with their eyes, no words had to be spoken because their understanding was on a level she also wanted to have when she'd get married.

The example was perfect. "Who's stuff are you holding my love..?" Jamie, Aliza's mom spoke. Dante just laughed at his wife's cute little obsessive behavior. As much as she tried to hide it, nothing could cover the smirk in the corner of her lips that stated she would get down on someone's behind if they messed with her family. The white skinned woman tried her best to maintain eye contact with her man, she still couldn't help folding in half like a blushing mess before the guy.

Thirteen years of marriage and he still had her under his grasp. "Aliza made a new friend today and apparently he or she had left this stuff behind. Calm down honey" Dante smiled, his fingers locking into his wife's hands. The exhale the shorter woman let out showed her relief. Don't get her wrong, she didn't worry about her husband cheating on her but the ladies around here? She wouldn't put it past them to flirt with him.

When she had her accident, two girls tried to be all up on her man like she wasn't his wife. It irritated her to the core but then she remembered who she was and who god would want her to be. There isn't a sense of insecurity within her bones. It was a rare occasion if she got out of body, since she was white and this was mostly a black church she tried to stay calm because people always tried to pull the racist card on her. That's what the early 2000's was like.

Jamie wasn't racist by any means, she grew up in the south side of Chicago, adopted by a black family and got married to a black man, racist where? Yeah crazy. "Ready to go guys? I need to stop at my work place before we head home to get my new file." Dante and alzia smiled again, though they weren't poor, they weren't rich either.

People tried to make fun Aliza's clothes because they were a little run down but that was because even though they made bank, aliza chose to keep her older clothes, she didn't understand getting new things she didn't need.
There was no problem wearing the same clothes for her and as much as her parents bought her new clothes she would always secretly walk up the street to the drop off box for the homeless and put them in there. She didn't need it so someone else did.

The three walked out of church hand in hand, no worries in sight. The black Jeep rubicon Jamie owned sat in the parking lot perfectly, clean, wonderful. She spotted a family, one she has never seen before next to her car. The lambo white, a little boy with a even tinier girl next to him, tears flowing out of the kids eyes. A lady in red and black standing over them giving a good lecture.

Alzia noticed the familiar face but this time it seemed sad, jeongguk looked torn apart standing infront of a little girl a few inches shorter than himself, covering her. Before she knew it her hand tapped Dante's hands pointing at the family and then pointing to the sketch books. Her father took notice and alerted his wife that the two will go for a second to return the sketch book and pens to the boy.

A few minutes later alzia and her tall father approached the family. "Shut your ass the fuck up! We aren't here for you to make friends , stop whining." The lady from earlier at the bathroom spoke. Her words super mean even Aliza flinched. Jeongguk seemed to notice the little friend he made not even twenty minutes ago with a man holding his sketch book. "Excuse me..?" Dante tapped the ladies shoulder, Jamie stepped into the truck starting the engine and looking to the back seat where her son had been waiting, she knew he didn't care for church, the people judged to much here according to him.

"Hey mama where's pops and Liza?" The sixteen year old looked out of the tinted windows of the Jeep, his seatbelt accidentally locking and forcing him to get no where when he tried to sit up. "They are over there." The blonde haired woman giggle at her son, the stubborn young man really didn't play about his sister and parents. He made sure to figure out where they were.

His noodle arms wouldn't be able to do much even if he had to try to protect them but that didn't mean he wouldn't try. He glanced over the left seat through the mirror on the front door and spotted the two he was looking for next to a woman. He rolled his eyes silently hoping they would hurry up so Jamie could cook dinner.

"I think this is your sons sketch book? Isn't that right princess?" Dante muttered, he could already sense the negative energy from the lady before him. "Oh yess thank you very much...speak up boy say thank you" jeongguk looked a bit in willing but still forced himself to thank the dude infront of him. "Thank you sir" when his mother began a conversation with Aliza's father he sniffled and wiped his sisters tears, looking back at the brown skinned girl he was pretty happy to see and smiling at her waving for her to move closer.

She did, hugging him and waving her hand with a snap to the girl next to him. "Nice to meet you! My name is Aliza! And you are?" The girl didn't say anything, as if she had nothing to speak. "Her names nari, she doesn't speak to strangers..sorry about that" Aliza nodded in understanding. "No need to apologize it's perfectly fine.. I hope someday we can all hang out and have fun together. Your really pretty nari!" At that, the mother who's name is jeonyu snapped her neck to look back.

"Hii little girl I'm jeonyu and unfortunately these two won't be able to hang out until we finish our house and speaking of we need to head home so you all be safe and I'm sure we will see you next Sunday"

Jeonyu slammed the door after making sure her kids were in the car and buckled up before driving off quickly. Aliza couldn't miss the helpless look in jeongguks eyes. Did I say something wrong?
