Denni and benni landed face first onto the ground, denni taking most of the hit, bits of green wood tangled in his hair. They stood up, benni about to yell at him for not giving her any warning before feeling slight concern for him seeing the bits of wood sticking out of his hair and one pierced right through one of his antennae.

Benni: "are you... Okay?.."

Denni stared at her for a bit before looking away and whimpering a bit, clearly not okay.

Benni: "...you should've at least warned me before crashing through the ceiling like that... I coulda gotten real hurt y'know."

Denni's little antennae drop down slightly, feeling slightly guilty even if his face didn't show it. Benni sighed and rolled her eyes, walking to him and beginning to remove the bits of wood from his hair. He flinched a little at the contact but quickly relaxed and let her continue.

Benni: "like... You gotta think before you do things like that. That's how stuff like this happens..."

Denni began to drift off, no longer listening to her and staring at a blurry image in the distance. Looked like an eye. Benni suddenly yanked the piece of wood stuck in his antennae out, causing him to immediately snap out of it and yelp in pain, turning to face her.

Benni: "sorry but that needed to get out. It could've gotten really infected and painful y'know..."

Denni whined a little and looked away, pouting. Benni rolled her eyes and huffed a little and began to wander off without him.

Benni: "I'm gonna go look around... See if this place has anything."

Denni squeaked a little at those words and immediately dashed over to follow her, staying as close as he possibly can with out tripping her.

After a minute or two, benni started to talk to herself like she usually does, while denni just listened to her.

...

Denni suddenly got really scared, grabbing benni tightly by the shoulder, yanking her slightly.

Benni: "hey- what's the deal?-"

Before benni can finish her sentence, she hears footsteps in the distance and freezes up, dropping dead silent.

Benni: *shit shit shiiiit what now?..*
