Delicate fingers danced between black and white keys. Swiftly, with each press a beautiful delicate sound resonated within the room. Kiya smiled to herself as she strung notes together to create beautiful, elegant melodies. Every so often her foot would press down on a pedal and alter the length of the notes, allowing the phrase to hang in the air after the sequence of keys and notes had already been played.
As she sat there, composing a beautiful piece, a handsome brunette male looked on with awe and wonder. His mouth hung slightly open as he watched his girlfriend play.
Once she had ended her improvisation she stopped the recording on her phone. If she hadn't have recorded it she would've forgotten it, leaving the melody to die in that moment.
"Teach me," Harry said.
She raised her eyebrows in amusement. He repeated himself, enforcing his serious question. She laughed and shook her head. "It's not that simple."
"Sure it is, you just press the keys," he demonstrated. He threaded together a short dissonant, clashing phrase.
She hummed and nodded. "You can obviously teach yourself."
She began to stand but Harry protested, pushing her lightly back into her seat and sliding on the stool beside her. "Teach me," he whined.
"You're so childish," she admonished. She swung her legs around in efforts to leave but he pulled her back, wrapping his arms around her waist.
"Please?" He begged, pressing his lips against her neck.
She sighed and Harry grinned when he recognised her giving into his requests. "Be warned," she said. "I'm an impatient teacher."
"I'm a willing student," he grinned.
An hour passed and with a lot of suffering on Kiya's part she taught him a few very basic melodies from popular songs and nursery rhymes that he wouldn't remember in a few days.
"I got it," Harry grinned. "See I'm not that bad."
"Sure," Kiya said shortly.
"You love me," he sung as he pecked her cheek.
