Avia's P.O.V

Today I was working as a med-jack which I thought was pretty boring. It's just a hospital. And it's boring.

I walked into the building (Well, more like a shack since it was falling apart but anyways.) and looked around. On my right there was a flight of stairs. On my left, was a room similar to a waiting room.

I followed Newt up the stairs when we ran into a boy. "Ah, Newt!" He smiled, patting him on the shoulder. "'This our worker?" He asked, turning to smile at me. I gave him a shy smile back and looked around once more.

"Yup. Clint, this is Avia but I'm sure you already know that." He said, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.

Clint nodded and gestured up the stairs.

"Jeff's right upstairs and he'll get you started with a few things." He said. I thanked him and made my way up the stairs.

I was only on the fourth stair when an alarm sounded. I immediately covered my ears due to the terrible sound. I looked to Clint and Newt for an answer, but they looked just as confused as I did.

Then I recognized the alarm.

The Greenie alarm.

They booked it out of the house which surprised me because if Newt's limp.

I followed close behind them, peeking over their shoulders to see.

We reached the box and all stared at it as if it would do something any second.

Newt hopped down, landing with the loud sound of his shoes against the medal while Alby watched nervously.

I'm certain he wasn't the only nervous one, because here I am waiting for a bomb to go off.

All of the sudden the boy in the box sat up immediately, panting heavily.

"Avia," he said between breaths. "You need to leave." Was all he said before passing back out.

Then, all eyes were on me.
