Cyprus gave Savannah a sympathetic smile as they walked together into the elevator.
"It must have been really surprising and sudden, right?" she asked Savannah as they walked towards the sliding glass doors in the lobby.
"Yeah," Savannah said. "Is it okay if I ask you some questions?"
"Of course!" Cyprus said.
"Er, why do only Theo, Rado, and Ryan have black hair and golden eyes like you?" Savannah nervously asked.
Cyprus tensed at this. "Because James Cade had one son. Theo, Rado, and Ryan are my kiddos. Alexander and Luke are Lily's boys. And Blake is the son of the Avery. Basically, my husband, Lily's husband, and Avery's husband are the same person. He's James Cade's son. His name is William."
"Really?" Savannah exclaimed, surprised. "Because William is the name of my fake sister Cyrah's boyfriend."
Cyprus shook her head. "This Will is different. I can pretty much promise you."
Cyprus turned away from the red Lamborghini and walked towards a sleek black SUV. "I much prefer hidden, undetectable cars, don't you think?" she said to Savannah, her tone moderate.
As they got into the car, and as Cyprus started to engine, Savannah asked, "While we drive, can you talk a little about James Cade and everything?"
Cyprus said, "Well, James Cade pretty much has trillions of dollars. Not millions, not billions, but trillions. And when he recently died, his will had distributions for money, but none of us have seen the will yet."
"According to his will, it will be read in two days. He actually died about a month ago, but you are quite an elusive young lady, Savannah Burke." Cyprus said as she slid the SUV smoothly into a parking spot at the front of a mall. "Come on, get out of the car."
She slammed the door shut, and Savannah followed her into the mall. "We should get you some new clothes, a couple of items for your shower room, because let me tell you, Savannah, Hotel Grande may seem grand, but their shampoo smells really bad, even though James Cade has the shampoo shipped from London for all of his hotels."
As Savannah trailed behind Cyprus like a lost puppy, she watched as Cyprus examined all the items of clothing. "How about you choose, Savannah?" Cyprus inquired, letting Savannah choose. "You only need two outfits, for today and tomorrow."
Savannah chose a tan, creamy blouse, black flare pants, and black sneakers for her appearance at the Cade Estate, and a white tank top and jean shorts for the next day. She also got a swim suit, just in case.
After that, Cyprus purchased box bathroom pack, which was simply a box that held orange scented shampoo, honeysuckle scented soap, conditioner, a hairbrush, and some hair ties and pins.
Savannah chose out four matching new collars and leashes for her dogs. They were all collars with leashes to match. They were all icy blue had golden buckles and clasps, with glittering fake diamonds on the collars.
Savannah was ready to end their mall trip, though Cyprus had other ideas. She bought Savannah a journal made of expensive brown leather with tan, creamy lined pages.
Finally, loaded down with bags, the two headed out into the SUV and drove back to Hotel Grande, where Savannah immediately took a shower while the Cade boys and Cyprus lounged in the living room.
