The Cade Legacy

Chapter Six

Savannah immediately peeled her dirty gymnastics dress and jacket off, tossing them into a basket in the corner.

Savannah stepped into the shower and immediately started just pressing random buttons on the control panel, simply trying to get it to work.

Soon enough, Savannah got a soothing rainfall going, and she immediately and visibly relaxed, lathering her hair with shampoo and conditioner and watching as all the dirt washed down the drain in bubbles of honeysuckle, lavender, and rosemary.

Stepping out of the shower, Savannah put on her white tank top and blue jeans and walked out into the living room, where everyone was lounging and chatting.

"Hi," she said, bringing everyone's attention to her.

She had pinned her bangs away from her face and tied her hair into a long braid that arced down her back.

She tossed herself down on the nearest couch space, which happened to be right next to Ryan, and scooped up Kumo, setting the puppy onto her lap and gently smoothing out all the knots in his white fur. "So," Savannah said. "What are we doing right now?"

Blake had arrived in the room earlier, and he shrugged. "You can do whatever you want. There's a pool..."

Alex was the one who suggested that they all go swimming together. "Sure, why not?" Savannah shrugged. "I'll go change into my swimsuit. I guess I'm showering twice today."

The Cade boys headed out with Cyprus to go get their swimsuits as Savannah went back into her bathroom to change.
