Savannah Burke tucked her body tightly into a ball and rolled, landing strongly on her feet.

Slow clapping could be heard from the open doors of her practicing gym, and Savannah whirled around. Her older sister, Cyrah Burke, leaned against the balance beam that Savannah sometimes practiced on. "How was rehearsal?" she asked, sweeping her dark brown hair aside from her face.

Savannah's golden yellow hair perfectly framed her face, and she reached up a hand to tuck an outlying strand into a spot behind her ear. "Okay," she replied smoothly. "What were you doing?"

Cyrah shrugged. "Hanging out with Will."

Savannah took several steps towards Cyrah. "You're lying." she accused calmly.

Cyrah rolled her eyes. "I can never seem to find out how you know every time I lie."

"So what were you really doing?" Savannah asked her sister.

Cyrah narrowed her eyes. "None of your business."

"Really," Savannah said. "Last time you told me it was none of my business, you ended up in jail and I had to bail you out. And yet you still keep secrets from me."

Cyrah smirked and flashed Savannah her trademark smile. "Well sorry Miss Dig-For-Secrets."

Savannah glared daggers and her sister and flipped her hair back, tossing it into a messy ponytail. "When we get home, you and I are going to have a conversation."

Cyrah paused. "Well there's a bit of a situation at home."

Savannah raised her eyebrows at Cyrah. "What sort of situation?"

"Well, apparently, a really rich person recently died. His name was James Cade. And apparently he included you in his will. And they sent a person to tell us." Cyrah hesitantly told Savannah.

"And why would you want to keep that a secret from me?" Savannah asked Cyrah, her bold aquamarine blue eyes latching onto Cyrah's interestingly violet eyes.

"Because, well, - Savannah, just come home with me. I'll explain there."

Savannah scooped up her duffel bag with a hand, zipping a jacket over her gymnastics dress. She tossed her expensive water bottle into it without a back glance as she followed Cyrah out of the glass-walled gym.

Making their way over to their home, Savannah kept glancing at Cyrah, who looked as though she wanted to bolt away.

Reaching their home, Savannah found a sleek red Lamborghini parked in their driveway. She looked at Cyrah, who didn't look very surprised to see the expensive car.

"Ah, Miss Burke. You finally found some time to meet me," a golden-eyed black-haired boy said, leaning calmly against Savannah and Cyrah's door.

"Who are you, and what are you doing at my house?" Savannah demanded.

The boy glanced at Cyrah, who was gritting her teeth. "I thought that your dear older..." he paused. "Sister, would have told you already."

"I -" before Cyrah could start explaining to the boy, he flashed Savannah a fake smile.

"Since your darling older... sister... doesn't want to chat, why don't I introduce myself? My name is Theodore Cade, and I'm the grandson of James Cade. My brothers Alexander, Luke, Blake, Rado, and Ryan chose to stay at the Cade Estate, but they sent me here to tell you about my grandfather's will reading. You are included in it. Please, do tell me what you did to trick Grandfather into adding you into his will." Theodore said, staring at Savannah with intensity.

"Who- what- why- how- I didn't trick your grandfather!" Savannah exclaimed. "I didn't even know who he was until you came to our house!"

"Please excuse my sister, Mr. Cade. She can be rude sometimes." Cyrah smoothly covered Savannah's stutters. "Come along into our house."

A shell-shocked Savannah passed Cyrah the house keys, attached to a little brown dog, a little white dog, a little brownish and black dog, and a little gray dog made out of resin in the keychain.

Savannah impulsively started forward as Theodore stepped into the house.

Immediately, four dogs bounded forward, barking at Theodore.

"Nero! Titanium! Kumo! Apollo! Sit!" Savannah shouted.

The four dogs turned to see their owner standing in the door frame, and they cowered and sat down, still growling down in their throats at Theodore.

Theodore edged around the snarling dogs and settled himself down on their couch.

"Cy?" William, Cyrah's boyfriend, called from behind the house. "When did you earn enough to get a red Lambo? Aren't they really expensive? Can I have it?"

Cyrah winced.

"What is it?" Thoedore pleasantly asked. "A problem with my Lamborghini?"

He got to his feet again and walked over to the door. "It's mine, whoever you are."

"I'm Cyrah's boyfriend. I'm William." William said, smiling.

"Oh." Theodore said. "Well, I'm here because Savannah here might earn some, well, a buttload of money from my grandfather James Cade. So yeah. She's in the will."

William's eyes flashed with greed. "Well," he said, his voice sounding cunning. "On the account of me being Cy's boyfriend, Sav, won't you let me... manage your money for you."

"No!" Cyrah shouted. "He'll spend it all! Don't let him have it, Savannah!"

Savannah glared daggers at William as his gaze turned murderous. "This relationship is off."

Then, with a last glare at the trio, he stomped away, making to kick the Lamborghini but missing as he left.

Theodore blinked. "Well," she said. "Let's go back inside."
