Chapter 2- The Beast

Next day, at night....

Ella reaches the King's chambers from her room adjacent to the King's.

"Begin your story. Start from where you left yesterday" Alexander orders Ella

"Can I call you Alex? " Ella asks with hope in her eyes

"So, you are just like all the other women. It was my mistake to think that you are any different"

"What do you mean, Alexander?"

"This is exactly what I mean. I gave you the freedom to call me by name and now you want coax by calling me Alex. Look woman, I'm only letting you stay because your story is interesting , and because of the baby inside. But don't try your chances, I can very well kill you if you're here to seduce me. I love my wife very much even though she's dead for over 200 years"

"You mean Queen Garcia?" Ella asks with disappointment

"Obviously, otherwise who else? You?"

"He really doesn't remember me " Ella whispers with sadness

"What did you say?"

"Nothing, your majesty. I'm sorry I shouldn't have overstepped my boundries. Let's continue the story"

"No need to cry , you can call me Alex, but don't harbour any false hopes, you'll never replace my wife. I'm only allowing you because I have heard crying is bad for the baby in the womb"

"Yes, yes, Alex!!" Ella beams with joy as Alexander lets her call him Alex

" The King didn't know that his happiness would soon be snatched by his evil step-sister. The sister whom they had given a place to stay in the Palace would soon ruin his life, his marriage and his child. The very sister whom the Queen treated with more love and affection then her own sisters. One day when the King came back home after hunting , his evil stepsister, Martha told him that his wife was cheating on him. So, the King hurriedly ran to his room and caught his beloved making out on their bed with some random man. The King boiled in anger and killed the man sleeping with his wife. He got into an intense physical argument with his wife. The King was so drunk that he didn't even realise that he had fallen right into someone's trap. He didn't realise that after tonight he'll never see the people he loved the most, his wife and his baby. To relax him and calm him down, Martha who enjoyed the show and smiled inwardly fed him alcohol laced with drugs that take away the ability of a person to think. The King was not in the right state after witnessing his wife's betrayal. So he kept drinking glasses after glasses from Martha and killed their baby thinking it was someone else's. The Queen was ashamed of her actions and begged the King to forgive her and give her one last chance. But everything changed when the Queen saw the King kill their baby with his own hands. The Queen was devastated and cursed the King agelessness and loneliness. And every day that he ages he'll look like less human and more beast like. He killed an innocent child and betrayed his innocent child, so unless a kind, pure hearted woman who loves him as true and as loyal like a child, with feelings without any greed or desire or malicious intentions as pure as a baby's love and who would be willing to even die for him to free him from his curse, but he will forget her and never remember her even then. He'll forget the person who sacrificed her for him once he turns into a human again and will remain alone until his death. Two hundred years later, the King looks completely like a beast with hair all over his body, he's nails long and claws sharped, face scarier than a demon himself. He's lonely, alone and regretting his worst mistake of his life. He cries and longs for his baby everyday for the last two hundred years waiting for death, but death doesn't come to him"

"The story cannot end like this" Alexander says

"It doesn't." Ella replies

"What about the Queen?"

"She kills herself after witnessing their son's death"

"Why did you stop? Continue... "

"The night's over Alex "

"Fine, then continue tomorrow " Alexander says.
