Chapter 5 - Ella Vs The Beast

"Why did he have the same name as me?"

"And then one fateful night destiny decided to meet Ella and Alexander. It was raining heavily that night , yet there was a girl , a poor girl and her father travelling miles from their hometown to the king's palace. Ella and her dad weren't so blessed, they had to make shoes and sell them for a living. Usually, Ella's dad would make them and Ella would go door-to-door to sell them. This time was different her father accompanied her as they went to sell their shoes to the King. Ella's father, John had incurred several debts , so they had to sell their shoes to the King. Otherwise, the debt collectors would eat them alive. They finally reached the palace, but the rain destroyed all their shoes. They were dejected, but Ella assured her dad that although their work is ruined their design is still good, if they can show them how unique their work is and if the King agrees to give them raw materials, they can make it again. Martin didn't have any hope as the once kind King had now turned into a ruthless beast, but he still went with his daughter's plan because he didn't wanna disappoint her. They went inside the Palace, it was only, dark , mysterious. There was appeared to be not a single soul inside the Palace. When they were about to leave the Palace the King or rather I should say, the beast appeared. He looked terrifying that made both the father and daughter flinch. The beast was visibly angry at the intruders and wanted to punish them for trespassing , but then a devious idea popped in his mind d when Ella said that how she and her dad in need of money and all the loans they had taken just to make shoes for him. Beast liked the fact that Ella was the first person who didn't run away after seeing his dangerous avatar, so he offered her a deal in exchange for clearing her father's debts - she must stay in the Palace with him and love him and sacrifice her life at the end to break him free of the curse. The beast gave her only three months otherwise , he'll make sure that her father doesn't live to see another day."
