A Wolf Is My Price

The Plan

We were talking about what we were going to do when I had a GREAT idea. Mia, Cody, and James, we're all talking at once. "Guys." No answer. "Guys." No answer. "Guys?" No answer. 'This is annoying,' I thought. 'Another good idea,' I thought, after I knew how I would get there attention. I changed into a wolf and growled, making Mia jump into Cody's arms bridal-style, Cody just jumped, then caught Mia, and James yelled "ahh," and turned around. "Emily! Oh no she was eaten!" Mia screamed, still in Cody's arms. I changed back and laughed my butt off. I fell to the floor from laughing and crying too hard, still laughing and crying. They all gawked at me, which made me laugh more. When I was done laughing they all stared at me with blank faces. I shrugged innocently. That's when Cody and Mia realized what they were doing, they both blushed and Mia got out of his arms. I stifled a laugh and told them I had a plan. My plan was that Mia would call the cops before Cody would go in like he still worked there, and he would bring a new recruit, James. James would bring me in and Cody would bring Mia-the witness. James would take the actual werewolf-me-because he needed their trust. Then Cody will get all the weapons and give them to the cops-saying to the people who work there that the boss said to upgrade them. After Cody tells the boss about me, he would come and take me to him so that the boss could do the job. Cody and James would come and help me knock him out with knock out gas that Cody has in his pocket. After that we will have to hold everyone else off for a little while Mia tells the cops to come in. "That's risky," James said worriedly. I smiled and touched his arm,"I'm a tough girl, remember?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. He and Cody laughed sadly and nodded. Mia started to cry a little but I hugged her and told her it would be ok. "I-I just d-don't want t-to see you g-get hurt," she sniffed. I let a couple of tears slip. "You already have your life at stake anyways!" she yelled, letting my secret slip out of sadness and frustration. Her eyes got wide and she covered her mouth. I sighed and turned to look at the boys who had their mouths open with a 'what the freaking heck?!' look on their faces. 'Great,' I thought. I told them about the rest of the curse and they both just stared into space and sat on the ground. "G-guys I-I'll be ok," I said, reassuring them. James got up and wrapped me into a hug,"don't leave me, ok?" he asked and I felt a wet spot on my cheek. 'Am I crying?' I thought. Then I looked at James and realized it was him, not me. "J-James-" I was cut off. "Please Emily, please," he begged. "I-I'll try," I whispered. He smiled sadly. "Don't leave any o-of us. We'll miss you too much. Ok?" Cody asked in a not-so-much-of-a-question way. I nodded and let another tear slip, and then I hugged him. He smiled sadly after we pulled apart. Mia started crying again and Cody went to hug her. After sitting down for a bit and settling, we decided it was time. Mia called the cops and told them where we were and what was here with us. "Now," I said, and James grabbed me like Cody grabbed Mia. They both grabbed us how Cody grabbed me while "capturing" me. They took us in and put us in the same cell. "We'll be right back, I promise," James said. "We promise," Cody said. "Yeah, we promise," James said, and Mia and I nodded. After a little, the man with the scar over his eye came and took me out of the cell. 'Oh no! This isn't the plan!' I thought and panicked. While he was walking me to the boss I saw James and Cody walking back to get me. They saw me and their eyes practically bulged out of their heads. "I'll be ok, just get Mia out," I mouthed. James and Cody looked scared, worried, and reluctant, but they nodded and kept walking. I was starting to get really scared. That's when I was snapped out of my thoughts by getting thrown into a dark room. 'Ow!' I thought. A man in a black suit came out of the darkness. He had black hair, dark brown eyes, and he was about as tall as James. He was pretty strong-looking and he had a deep voice. "Well, well, here we are........Emily," the voice said. Just hearing that made me shiver, but, things got a whole lot worse after that.
