Yaz POV:

Who would have thought that hiding away in a container on a ship full of dinosaurs would be this exhausting? The boat swayed constantly, making it nearly impossible to keep steady, and the thudding of dinosaur footsteps echoed from the containers above. Every so often, a drop of water would drip down from the ceiling, splashing right onto Ben.

"Come on," he muttered, grimacing as another drop hit him.

Meanwhile, Sammy was focused on something entirely different. She stood by a crate with a small lantern on it. "Okay, tell me what looks better." She moved the lantern to one side. "Here?" Then she shifted it to another spot. "Or... here?" She looked to me, waiting.

I tilted my head, trying to concentrate even as the container creaked and rocked again, sliding the lantern until it stopped at one side of the crate. "Well," I joked, throwing an arm around Sammy's shoulders, "looks like the boat thinks it should go there."

Sammy settled into my hold with a soft smile. "I'm just trying to make this place feel like home," she murmured. Then she looked at the lantern where it had landed. "But the boat's right. It does look better there."

Another loud thud from above sent down more drips, right onto Ben's head. He let out a frustrated groan, finally snapping. "This Gallimimus is really getting on my nerves."

Darius shook his head, smirking. "No, Gallimimus is on the first floor," he corrected, pointing downwards. "Third floor is..."

Ben looked confused. "Then who's above us?"

Darius picked up a metal water can and tapped it against the ceiling. An irritated roar sounded in response. "Baryonyx," he said, just as Ben and Sammy chimed in, though Darius had beaten them both to the punch.

Ben stared, incredulous. "How? What? How do you know that?"

Darius leaned back, folding his arms with a confident grin. "Former DPW," he said with a wink, clicking his tongue like he had all the answers.

I chuckled softly at the scene before my eyes drifted to Y/N, who was chatting with Kenji a little ways off. They spoke quietly, Kenji offering him a reassuring pat on the shoulder before slipping into the container, a head of lettuce in his hands.

Darius glanced over. "Hey, where's Y/N?" he asked, his voice tinged with concern.

Kenji hesitated for a moment, then shrugged. "He'll come around soon."

Ben folded his arms, looking skeptical. "Let's be real here. We all know how fragile he is. What are we gonna do if he... you know, snaps?"

Sammy averted her eyes, her expression softening. "He's just dealing with something heavy," she murmured. "We all lost Brooklynn, but I can't imagine losing your own kid on top of that."
