After seven years of serving in communities in Manila and Central Luzon, my husband William and I returned to my hometown, Cagayan de Oro City. Upon our arrival, my high school best friend Esperanza shared with me an autograph I filled out when we were in 2nd year high school. In the autograph, I had described my ideal man as "a practical and devout Catholic" with an occupation as a "farmer/agriculturist." To our surprise, William fit that description perfectly!
In contrast, William shared that as a young boy, he was always drawn to girls with ponytails and sweet smiles. He saw those qualities in me when we first met.
It was amazing to discover that even before we met, God had already planted seeds of attraction and compatibility between us. We are grateful for God's mysterious plan and how He brought us together.
