Avyan dropped me off. After entering my pin, I stepped inside and turned on the hall lights. I headed to my bedroom, grabbed fresh clothes from the closet, and went to the bathroom. Filling the bathtub with water, I added bath oil and fragrance cubes. Using my favorite body wash, I undressed and settled into the tub.

As the cool water enveloped my skin, I felt goosebumps all over. I prefer cold water baths; warm water isn't my thing. Settling in, memories of the day flooded my mind - the beautiful places, kind people, and Avyan's thoughtful gestures. He's genuinely a good person.

But Yash's actions today infuriated me. How could he introduce me as his friend? Didn't he consider my feelings? Is he ashamed to acknowledge me as his girlfriend? Does he think I'm unworthy? Tears filled my eyes, and I felt a sting as they rolled down.

I'd never pressed Yash to introduce me as his girlfriend, knowing our relationship was secret. But I never expected him to call me his friend, right in front of me.

I cried uncontrollably, my heart aching with sorrow. Unable to express my pain, I wept silently. Time passed unnoticed as I lay in the bathtub for over 30 minutes, lost in my tears.

Finally, I emerged, wrapped myself in a bathrobe, and quickly changed into an oversized T-shirt and shorts. Picking up my phone, I saw I'd spent an hour in the bathroom and missed 25 calls from Yash.

As I prepared to call him back, his phone rang again. "Hello Ahana, I've been calling you nonstop! Where are you?" Yash asked angrily.

"I was taking a bath, Yash. I couldn't answer," I replied calmly.

"why are you yelling at me?" I asked in irritating tone.

Yash's tone softened, "Sorry, baby. I was worried. I called to ask what you'd like to eat."

I replied, "I've already eaten, my stomach's full." He said, "Okay, I'll be there in 5 minutes" and hung up.

I thought, "He got angry because I didn't answer his calls, yet he introduced me as his friend. I didn't scold him, but I won't let it go."

With these thoughts, I sat on my bed and began reading a book, trying to calm myself.

I had barely read two pages of the book when I heard the gate open. Immediately, I placed the book on the side table and turned away, pretending to sleep, so Yash would think I was asleep.

I sensed he had turned off the hall lights and entered the room, closing the door behind him. He likely went to the closet to change clothes. I quietly turned around and saw him heading to the washroom with fresh clothes.
