We all know the stories of legend and the heroes that reside within them but too often are they mentioned that we forget people in middle of these conflict, this one is no different as we follow the story of a young boy.
(A/n: Alright the end of volume 1 Yeaaahhh, So if you don't know since it's been awhile since I actually finished a season before the start of a new one I usually just yap about my character, Provide fun trivia and a hint toward ideas in the future SO SPOILERS POSSIBLY. But don't worry there will be something special coming up.)
1. Is Finn related to Ozpin and Salem?
A/N: No Finn Isn't related to them or anyone else in the show.
2. What's Finn Fairy tale influence?
A/n: So you might not have gotten this but I didn't just pick his name out of nowhere the influence can from the character of huckleberry Finn. While not everything will be from the books I'll use certain things elements for the character.
A/n: So in case you're wondering no Finn wasn't abused but he did have to run for what reason is.......complicated.
3. Will there be a romantic interest in the story?
A/n: No, a big part of Finn's story is his relationships with other character and as you probably could have guessed from many scenes so far Finn is awkward and doesn't really understand people which will be explained later but it is still relevant to remember going forward.
A/n: Also from reading other fanfics about Rwby a big thing that kind of annoys me (No hate whatsoever ever to Other Rwby fanfics this is just a pet peeve of mine) Is that their character needs to have a romantic relationship with one of the members of the cast. I wanted to show Finn's relationships being meaningful while not being romantic.
A/n: BUT if I had a gun to my head and I had to choose a love interest it would probably be Penny.
4. Will Finn get a semblance?
A/n: Short answer, Yes!!
A/n: Longer answer, Still yes but it won't be for a while. Another pet peeve mine is that with most fanfics in general (Again no hate what so ever) Is that people typically make their character really impressive and kind of OP really early on. Also I didn't really wanna trivialize most conflicts by making my character just show up to make them win. Plus I like to think it balances Finn having multiple different weapons.
5. Why so many guns?!
A/n: Simple I just thought it was cool lol, but I did this for one big reason It would help me to get better at writing fights. Plus I found characters like Dante, kratos and the doom slayer really cool because of their arsenal and I really wanted to write a character like that. And yes Finn will get a crap ton more weapons as the story goes on.
6. Other characters?
A/n: Yes their will be other character in this fic Which includes more bad guys, more heroes and more civilans but I promise that they won't change the story.
7.About Finn's story
A/n: Their really isn't any spoilers for my answer here but more so I wanted to make something clear, FINN ISN'T SPECIAL IN ANYWAY SHAPE OR FORM, He isn't a silver eyed warrior, he isn't the secret son of someone powerful and he isn't a Grimm. Finn for all intents and purposes is just a normal guy in this world with an insane amount of willpower. Even when he unlocks his semblance he still won't be super powerful.
A/n: Plus this connects with the description of the story, Remember this is a story of the people being caught in the middle of the conflicts in the story Finn represents the people how are just trying their best to adapt to what's going on hence the another reason for him having multiple weapons.
8.Finn's backstory.
A/n: So I'm doing something little odd with this book by completely revealing Finn's backstory from the beginning, there will be moments when he opens up about it but as for chapter 10. That is just a piece of what happened to him.

A/n: Is it a little egotistic to talk about your design for a character maybe but whatever ( The idea comes from The judgement critter)
A/n: I wanted two things to be obvious from the start 1) How dirty and unorganized it is, he's wearing a ripped shirt with pants that are too big for him. Being stuffed in his steeled soled boots. A lot of the colour palette is a dirty green with grey and black with the only difference to break up the design is muted orange I gave to the jacket and his gauntlet and the red from his eyes. I basically wanted to show that Finn doesn't really care how he looks and is only focusing on killing Grimm.
A/n: 2) I wanted to show how soulless it is, every one of the main cast has a certain amount of flare to it. Whether it be Ruby's hood, Jaune's obviously bulky armour or Yang's mix match style Finn apart from his goggles doesn't have that, while dirty it strictly serves the purpose of combat and nothing else.
A/n: Tl;dr, I wanted this design to spark up questions while showing a running theme with Finn's design, When he's by himself he looks impressive but compared to everyone else he really doesn't look like much.
(fun fact: Finn is simultaneously my favourite design character design wise but I hate his voice due to the fact that I struggled with his personality in the beginning)
10.About poppy
A/n: As you probably understood by now I really like The Doom series and yes Poppy is inspired by daisy but before you ask no nothing bad will happen to her I'm cruel but its NOT A MONSTER!!!!
