(Team JNPR's Dorm)

Team JNPR was just relaxing in their room, Ren was clean his weapon, Nora was jumping her bed while Pyrrha was looking out her window in worry.

Nora: How come Jaune gets home so late?

Ren: He's become rather scarce since he started fraternizing with Cardin.

Nora: That's weird doesn't he know we have a field trip tomorrow we need our *flops on bed* rest.

Pyrrha: *irritated* I'm sure our leader knows exactly what he's doing.

Nora: Hmmmmm, I guess so.

Unknown to  the group Jaune was standing outside the room hearing everything, he slowly shut the door but was startled by the sound of a familiar voice.

Ruby: Hey Jaune long time no see, did you lock your self out again.

Jaune: Oh uh nope got it. *holds up keycard*

Ruby: So where have you been lately?

Jaune: I uh.....*defeated* I messed up I did something  I shouldn't have and now Cardins got me on a leash, I got in a stupid fight with Finn and Pyrrha won't even talk to me...*slides to the floor* I'm starting to think coming to this schools a bad Idea.....I'm a failure.

Ruby: Nope. *plainly*

Jaune: Nope?

Ruby: Nope, you're a leader now Jaune you're not allowed to be a failure.

Jaune: But what I'm a failure at being a leader?

Ruby then promptly sits beside the boy with no hesitation and stare deep into his eyes.

Ruby: Nope.

Jaune: Your not the easiest person to talk too about this stuff.

Ruby: Nope, Jaune maybe you were a failure when you were a kid...you might have been a failure the first day we met but you can't be one know you now why?

Jaune: Uhhh because..

Ruby: Because it's not  just about you anymore, you have a team now Jaune we both do and If we fail *standing up* we'll just be bring them down with us we have to put our teammates first and ourselves second. Your team deserves a great leader Jaune and I think that can be you.

The girl then walks down the hall waving the boy goodnight, Ruby walks for little bit before abruptly stopping.

Ruby: Are you just gonna stand there and watch mister loner.

Finn: *Walking out* You know apart from the whole teammates before yourself thing, you gave good advice.

Ruby: *turns to him* You could have chipped in to help whenever you wanted.

Finn: He said he didn't need my help I was just respecting his wishes.

Ruby: But he's also your friend and he's struggling I think that means you have to step in.

Finn: Then he should ask for my help then.

Ruby: *sighing* Why are boys so stubborn.

Finn: I'm not being stubborn, he said he didn't need my help, he hasn't talked to me since then and if worst comes to worst he has a team he could always go to. I just don't see why I need to be the one to help him.

Ruby: You don't have to be the one to help him but could just be their for him.

Finn: .....

Ruby: Ya, know *pausing* I think I have a pretty good read on you Finn Witherspoon.
