"Sure." Ishika sighed and stopped her mental conflict and shocking Lily and Jane.

"But." Ishika said making them drop there smiled.

"After a few months." She said and they nodded happily making Ishika smiled at their excited faces. Her family already knew about her short-lived relationship and didn't ask her anything.

Author's POV

It has been 2 months since Ishika came back to America and since day one she has been receiving a large bouquet of pink tulips. Her favourite flowers. As happy she gets seeing those flowers her inner self shudders as she thinks of words Abhimaan said when she was in the Airport. He had a psychic look in his eyes but he has not contacted her except those sorry notes she gets with every bouquet.

Today was a ball and Ishika had a date. Even though she was not interested yet for her aunt and grandmother she agreed to go. She is wearing a beige dress. Her 'date' is none other than Giovani de luca. Giovani is a nice man but Ishika is not interested in him and nor is Giovani interested in Ishika. Yet, for their family they are pretending.

"Ishi!" Ishika was brought out of her daze by her aunt's voice.

"Yes aunt?" She asked.

"Giovani is here sweetheart he is waiting for you downstairs." She said.

"Ok. I'm coming in minute." Ishika said as she looked at herself in the mirror and sighed. She quickly plastered a fake smile highlighting her dimple on right cheek.

Ishika descended down the stairs and she saw Giovani in a grey tux. She smiled at him as he gave her his hand.

"So what do you have in your mind." Giovani asked looking at Ishika with his blue-green eyes, one thing Ishika admired a lot but not more than those black pearls that seem to be in her mind 24 hours.

"Nothing." She said.

"My cousin. She is coming to this ball today." Giovani said.

"Who?" Ishika asked.

"Aurelia De Luca." Giovani said and Ishika's eyes widened. Aurelia De Luca is the biggest name in business industry the only daughter in De Luca family. Ishika's inspiration. She is 24 but is very clever.

"Aur-relia?" Ishika asked.

"She is the only female cousin I have, of course." Giovani laughed at Ishika's state. No one has seen Aurelia de luca she works in shadows. In every award function she sends her assistant. The world is unaware about how she looks but they are aware about the power she holds.

"Don't worry. She's polite and she'll like you." Giovani said looking at her state.

"How does she look like?" Ishika asked.

"You'll see." Giovani smirked.

Ishika playfully roller her eyes at that.

"So how's that lover of yours?" Giovani asked.

"I don't know." Ishika replied.

"I have never seen that man acting so desperate. He's always ice cold." Giovani laughed. He obviously knew Abhimaan. The whole business world does. He also knows that taking her as his date today could make him end up dead but liked this new challenge and was excited to see Abhimaan's reaction.
