Chapter 43

She called her cousin Alexander knight.

"Hello." Ishika said her voice was rough from crying.

"What happened Lia?" Alexander asked anxiously.

"I'm coming back." Ishika said.

"Ok I will arrange a flight for you Lia. Please take care." Alexander said and Ishika ended the call. Staying in her own misery.

Author's POV

Ishika was sitting in her car on her way to Airport.

Her eyes were speaking words she couldn't. Void of any emotion yet giving a lot of emotions. The car was engulfed with silence.

At this point even her driver was worried about her because the one who speaks like there is no tomorrow is now silent. He looked back through the mirror and saw her lost in her own world while looking out of the window he looked back and sighed.

"Stop." That is the first word that Ishika spoke since the car started. As she looked out there was a shop named 'Sweet Delights' the exterior of the shop was light pink and white. Suddenly Ishika has craving to sweets.

"Ma'am?" Driver's voice brought her back from her thoughts.

"I'll be back in a minute." She said and got out of the car followed by her bodyguards. She was in no mood to deal with anyone today so she had more than usual guards with her.

As she entered the shop, there was soft melodies playing in background.
The shop was large and there were some people there.

Ishika picked a bucket and went towards the section of 'Sour sweets ' there were small packet along with scoops and candies were displayed. She got 2 of those.

As she entered the 'Chocolate Delights' section she bumped with someone almost losing her balance making her guards ready to take action.

"I'm sorry." She said and started going towards sweets but someone took a hold of her hand. As she looked to see who it was, she was surprised to see Ria.

"Well, how are you?" Ria asked with a smile that looked to sweet to Ishika.

Ishika nodded and got back to her work.

"How is he?" Ria asked indirectly mocking Ishika. While Ishika ignored her.

"Ignoring me will not hide the truth. You fought your family for him, left your royal status for him and he?" Ria said her words felt like daggers to Ishika piercing her heart.

"I was never a royal." That's the first thing Ishika said.

"You are a royal. Saying you aren't won't help you. You are born to be a princess. You have royal blood. Ria almost yelled alerting Ishika's guards only for Ishika to sign them to stop.

"You want me stab myself and let that blood out of me?" Ishika asked.

"That won't help." Ria snarled.

"Just go." Ishika sighed continuing her work.

"Sweetheart let's go." Came voice of Aaditya Rajvansh.

"Ishu?" He said in a dilemma after noticing presence of Ishika.

"Yes?" Ishika asked.

"What are you doing here?" He asked carefully selection his words.

"Buying a knife." Ishika said shocking Aaditya. As she never talked this way.

"Why?" He asked carefully.
