"Ok, I'll give you a chance." She said and that was all what took him. He wrapped his hands around her dipping his head in crook of her neck inhaling her scent. Making him calm down a bit.

"I'm sorry." He kept on mumbling sorry like a mad person.

"Calm down it's okay, I'm not going anywhere." She said while running a hand through his hair.

"Stop right there Mr. Singhania." She said as he was coming to sit with her on the couch. He was amused by this behaviour of hers and was sad at the part she called him 'Mr. Singhania'.

"Yes La mia anima?" He asked.

"You are not coming near me. I might have agreed to give you a chance but I have a condition." She said making him anxious.

"What, sweetheart?" He asked about her condition.

"Well you will explain your your distant behaviour and that girl." She said making him smile at her.

"Well you remember our date?" He asked making her nod at that bitter thought. He sat on the other couch.

"Well in the morning that day I got a note it was in an envelope, it had our pictures together at different places, our chats and a note. It was covered in blood and it said to stay away from you. Which I ignored despite the warning below it. After a few minutes I got a call that Divya got into an accident I rushed to the hospital-" he said.
(A/n- Divya is Abhimaan's cousin sister. His uncle's daughter.)

"Is she okay?" Ishika asked getting concerned and making him nod.

"The next day, I got your photos of that day. When I tried to call you. I got another message which was a screenshot of my call. I knew this was something serious and maybe it was one of my rivals thinking that I tried to avoid you for your own safety. I got a team of guards following you everywhere and installed a anti virus shield in your phone." Abhimaan said.

"Wait a minute, you mean all this happened and you didn't tell me!" Ishika yelled at him making him flinch. She grabbed the nearest object which was a cushion and smashed it on his head but like the rock he is, nothing happened to him.

"Sweeth-" he said only to get interrupted by her.

"Don't sweetheart me Abhimaan Singhania how dare you keep such a thing from me? Who do you think you are huh? You could have told me. Par nahi humein to hero ban na hai aur deni hai kurbani.
(But no you have to become the hero and lose.)

"I'm sorry." He mumbled.

"Kya karein ab hum aapki sorry ka?" She asked him sarcastically.
(What should I do of this sorry of yours?)

"Forgive me." He said.

"Forget everything else who was that girl, Mr. Singhania?" She asked looking at him with murderous eyes.

"She's my cousin. Dhriti Singhania a certified hacker I was taking her help in finding the person behind all this. The day you came in my office, she was teasing me about you and that day at the hotel, I had to send you back as the last location of that person was that hotel and I did not wanted that person to meet you. I'm sorry for my behaviour sweetheart." He said sincerely looking in her eyes making her eyes widen.

"So, that means I yelled at you that day infront of your cousin and about her." Ishika recalled burying her head in her hands.

"Yes, but let's say she likes you more since that." Abhimaan said trying to calm her down. Ishika's phone started ringing making him sigh at the busy person she is. She sheepishly smiled and answered the call. It was a call from Kaartik.
