Another day, I woke up after yet another horrible night's sleep. My bed was always so uncomfortable, making me wish I could just punch my bed and make it better. But that rage was soon calmed as I saw the beautiful sun rising. Such a mundane and simple thing that was always so beautiful. I'd eat something quick, opting to grab a banana from the pantry in my very small kitchen. After being taken in by Xiuhtecutli all those years ago he gave me a small room in his massive pyramid. I was just happy to have a little place of my own. I walked back to my bedroom, spotting myself in the full body mirror gifted by one of Xiuhtecutli's followers. My long black hair was so messy as it lazily sat on my shoulders, draping down to my lower back. I couldn't help but love my tanned skin, I almost laughed about how much of an advantage it gave me. Being able to be out in the sun for so long without needing some kind of lotion was awesome. Then came my body, sure I had some abs, and decent arms but they hardly ever grew! No matter how many pushups I do I swear they don't get any better. I could do a measly 200 and be perfectly fine. Then the next day I do close to 1,000 and still no changes. Wait, what do push ups do again? Right, its chest. Why is my chest so small then! UGH. Then I'd make eye contact with myself, those lovely carmel eyes. At least that's what I've been told. Every time I see them I just start craving a nice cup of coffee. Xiuhtecutli may try his hardest to get me to stop drinking it, but my friend Shira was always able to sneak me a cup when she wasn't busy guarding Xiuhtecutli. I probably should have introduced her first, she is one of the elite guards for my tribe. She also had lovely tanned skin, and some beautiful green eyes. Her hair was just as black as mine but unlike me she had some very prominent features, two Jaguar ears on top of her head, and a long Jaguar tail protruding from her back. Wait, did I forget to mention she's a demi human. Ugh, I can't wait to start training. I'd finally take my eyes off the mirror and get dressed. Putting on a comfortable burgundy shirt and a pair of black shorts with a small Natlantian symbol. The symbol itself was of a saurian from the People of the Springs. I thought those little Koholasaurus's look so cute. I loved the hot springs in those areas, many people told me that they were so hot and I'm always like, what do you mean they're just luke warm. Then those people look at me like I'm crazy.
After getting myself prepared I grabbed a small bag from my bedside and with a long sigh, exited the pyramid. I walked and walked until I made it to a very specific cave. This cave led straight to an underground volcanic region. Just the perfect area for me to start training. I'd start with a brief warm up, as if the walk wasn't enough, being a short 3 miles away from where Xiuhtecutli's pyramid was.
I'd become very well versed in using my hands as my only weapons. Using them in a very versatile way. I don't spar with anyone because last time that happened they nearly died. So now I'm a little on edge to spar against anyone, they'll usually get so annoyed if I hold back telling me to go all out. Then when I do I end up hurting someone.
After my long warm up I climbed back up from the cave and went for a brief jog, something like 20 miles. After about two and a half hours I made it back to the cave. Part one of four of my workout was completed. The next step was strength training, using a lot of calisthenics, and some heavy rocks. I did a mix of pull ups, push ups, squats lunges and finally some weighted burpees. Then after completing the first set I did that 3 more times, finally finishing after one hour. Man, water always tastes so good after a nice long workout~. Alright, step 3! Time for some Agility drills, working on plenty of rolling, side stepping. I had made a small makeshift obstacle course that was designed to keep me on my toes. Now what might that obstacle course be? Simple, a wild hungry saurian nest. Specifically Qucusaur, the big red draconic like saurians. And these saurians specifically had a bone to pick with me. The score between me and this Qucusaur mother was very embarrassing, at least for the Saurian. So far it had only hit me once and that's when I wasn't used to the big attacks. I usually just keep going until one of us concedes. I've only conceded a few times, offering the Saurian something delicious to eat to save my own skin. I think she's already used to this because when I arrived at the nest she wasn't at the center and this time flew down right on top of me, attempting to use its beak to bite me. I dodged just in time.
