The last day of school

   "We did it, we did it!" I turned to my friend Cassidy Hill as we ran out of school. "I know I can't believe we made it through eighth grade, next year we are going to be freshman!" With that she did a cliché movie jump down the stairs, being Cass she tripped sending her stumbling to regain her balance. We laughed at the same time. I pulled her up and we started walking again, barely suppressing a laugh.
     "Excuse me, miss, u dropped something." I twirled around to see my other best friend Dylan Stark. I ran up to him and hugged him tightly. "Choking, dying" Dylan joked pretending to be out of breath. "So what did I lose hot shot?" I challenged jokingly. "Well I was going to say something else but you lost your dignity with that hug!" He massaged his neck, trying to make me feel embarrassed.
     Cassidy coughed irritably, she had the biggest crush on Dylan. "Don't worry Cass you'll get your chance to flirt." I stated bluntly. Cassidy turned almost as red as her hair, Dylan was a light shade on pink too.
       We walked to Mr. Stark's car. Cassidy and I piled in the back seat while Dylan got in the front with his dad. Cassidy got dropped first. "Bye Cass, text me" I hollered out of the car window.
    Once Cassidy was out of earshot, Mr.Stark got serious. Kids we are heading to S.H.I.E.L.D next. Alana don't worry your dad is going to be there. The organization wants teenagers in the program as junior superheroes, considering you two are more trained then some of the agents,
Mr. Rogers and I nominated you two! I don't know how I feel about this but for the sake of my dad I went along with it.
