I woke up the next morning to Dylan shaking me.
"Al we got donuts, come on!" Dylan smiled trying to get me out of bed. Predictable. Ever since we were younger he got up at the crack of dawn and I got up at noon.
I grumbled and rolled onto my stomach, my head was facing away from him. He tried again.
"Al come on. We have peanut butter donuts... We also have big plans today!" I could practically hear the smile spread across his face.
"Not interested. Alana can't get to the phone right now so leave a message at the beep," I paused for emphasis, "BEEP!"
Dylan heaved a huge sigh and spoke.
"Hey Al it's me, Dylan, if you don't get you ass out of bed. I will eat all of your peanut butter donuts." I rolled over to look at him. He wore a smirk that said he was very pleased with himself. It was the famous Stark smirk. His dad wore and passed it down for Dylan to wear.
"You wouldn't. And Mr. Stark please watch the profanity we are running a family friendly program." I rubbed my eyes and sat up. I threw the covers off and we walked to the kitchen.
And guess what. There were no donuts. My love of deep fried dough with peanut butter icing inside was just a ploy to get me out of my warm and comfortable bed. Now at this point you would expect me to do something rash. I mean I guess you could call it that. I made Dylan go down to Crispy Creme and get me donuts.
When he came back I grabbed and ate the donut in two swift motions. I ended the graceful act my placing a (hopefully) convincing smile on my face that I was satisfied with cramming a whole donut in my mouth.
Within (at least) two hours we left his house and I looked somewhat presentable. Considering I wore the same thing for two days straight and the outfit had massive wrinkles it them. We caught a movie at the theatre. Practiced hand to hand combat drills. We were enjoying each others company at the park when no one else but Cass and Zach were eating lunch at a nearby picnic table Cass had spotted us. Just great.
10/10
Amazing
Hopefully nothing to horrible happens..
*****************************************Sorry I haven't updated In a while. Summer has been super busy. I broke this up into two parts, because who doesn't like cliff hangers? Actually don't answer that. No one likes cliffhangers but it's 3 a.m and I have to get up at 7 a.m for volleyball. R.i.p me.
Anywho...
Much love🌞
